We visited this resort for the first time this past weekend as a group of three families and had a wonderful time. Very nice place, quiet and comfortable with spacious rooms. We stayed in the 3 Bedroom Cottage. It was spacious with its own kitchenette, AC units, and clean well equipped baths for the family. Kids had a great time playing in the park as well as family games in our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool in property. Overall great place to stay and I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend getaway in the highland lakes area.
We paid more than we wanted. The rooms were a little older, but was well maintained. We had a kitchenette and a carport. The room had its private AC unit and electrical heater. There is a pool and boat dock on the property. Kayaks had free launch into the lake. The staff was friendly.
We stayed in the 2 queen bed hotel room with kitchen. Very clean, beds not good, not bad. Sheets very crisp and clean. Basic bathroom. Air conditioner unit kept us cool. Great view of lake and dock. We were able to keep our sailboat in a slip about 300 feet from our room. Room had a round charcoal grill with cover which was clean and lined with foil. We cooked both meals on it and enjoyed the covered porch attached to the room which had a bench and garbage canand we had a clean picnic table. Staff were very attentive and good natured. Pool behind room is unseated but clean. No hot tub. You can be in the pool and see the playground. Boat slip was an additional fee of 20 a night very worth it. Electrical outlets on dock for charging trolling motor were greatly appreciated. They have a lot of very different accommodations here. Felt like summer camp, resort is down in a little called protected from wind and there are a lot of trees. Can't wait to have a family reunion there. Fishing service on site. Internet/phone signal is much better in the middle of the lake! Burnet tx is 7 pretty miles back into town if you need food etc.... Just loved it💙
Stayed here in August and had a room with 2 beds. Unfortunately Texas is in a drought and the lake level was so low that you could not make use of any of their amenities except the small pool. I was surprised at how dingy my room was - the bedspreads were dirty and there was a moldy smell. The shower was very small and the water pressure was low. After a hot day in the Texas sun a good shower would have been nice. On the upside, the people were very friendly but we had to call and wait 10-15 minutes to get checked in bc the office was locked in the middle of the day.
