Check in was quick,(only myself and my husband were checking in,had to check in at the hotel rondo just across the road, receptionist was pleasant.stayed in bungalow 127,it was a little dated, but ok,nice terrace with your own sun lounger,we were right by the pools.the pool area was on the small side,it was ok tho as not to many people on holiday (Covid).the meals were not very good, the restaurant was clean.didnt watch any shows in the evening,we like to go outside and enjoy the cocktail bars.it was a holiday we booked a week beforehand (Covid),we went to relax and have some sunshine..

If you wish to spend your evenings in peace, DO NOT choose this place. EVERY NIGHT at 8p.m. there is a kid’s disco with the same songs every single time and the volume level insanely loud. Seriously, the level of the noise is a health issue for people close to the pool area. The disco lasts until 9p.m. and is followed by a live concert until 10.30p.m. with NO change in the volume level.
The area is quiet otherwise, no traffic noise, no bars close by, but the nightly program is simply unbearable. According to one prominent travel agency, you will not be able to find a bungalow without the noise issue. The loudness covers the whole resort, yet, there was no mention on the website, not the hotel’s or the agency’s.

Also, don’t get surprised to see some small bugs nesting in your bedroom. We slept in a haze of poison gases...and repeated the procedure every other day (they left the poison for us).

Breakfast and dinner are served in Hotel Rondo across the street. Breakfast is okay, just remember to go as early as possible since there will not be room at 9am. anymore. Dinner, on the other hand.... skip if possible. The restaurant HALL is more like a school cafeteria or simply a hall with tables. Food straight from Germany with a touch of Spanish cuisine. At first we thought we are in Munich, but it was only the guests and the food: Beef, pork, beef, pork, fried, stewed, grilled. Incredibly tasteless cod, and some leftover seafood mixed as salad. Make sure you check the other hall with the ”Asian corner”, which actually means steaks, pizza, sausages, liver, etc... Oh yeah, remember to check whether you find the bugs nesting in the bread basket! If dinner isn’t for you, you can change it for lunch if you ask beforehand. With half board you pay for the drinks.

However, you can enjoy your dinner at the Miraflor pool side grill restaurant! Just let the reception know and they’ll make the reservation. Beef, pork, tuna, chicken, fresh from the grill as you wait for a minute. Scallops, sausages, oven baked potatos, fresh seafood, excellent aioli, etc... smaller restaurant with a lot more inviting atmosphere - as one staff member working in both restaurants also mentioned. Sadly it’s closed on Friday’s and Saturday’s.

Service, luckily, is very friendly and the facilities are well maintained (except for the bugs). Here and there you can see the age of the place, but for the most part no complaints. Kitchenette could be a bit better equipped (for example nothing to do the dishes with...) but with half board or all inclusive there’s not much need for it. You have your own sunbeds on your patio, along with table and chairs. Cleaning is done five times a week and it’s done well. Overall everything is clean and well-kept. Pooltowels are free for a deposit of 10e/towel. Safety deposit box costs 16e/week, with 10e deposit. Wifi is not included, but you can use it for free in the lobby.

If you travel with kids, they will love the place. Small yet adequate playground with kid’s club four times a day, bunnies hopping around and eating grass by your feet, the same cat sleeping on the sofa in the entrance (only the one btw), and peacocks walking around and even knocking on your window. Pool area is suitable for both small kids and the ones who can swim, with third pool a bit deeper overall. In February, the water was 23 degrees celsius, which felt a bit chilly at first, but was okay after all. Oh, there’s a lifeguard throughout the opening hours from 10am to 6pm to make sure everyone behaves accordingly. Some swimming aids are available for free use.

The pool area and the greennes of the whole area are the reasons to come. Also the location is close to everything with shuttle bus taking you to the beach four times a day and once a day to Maspalomas side. If you don’t mind the noise pollution every single night, you will enjoy your stay and probably be back.
However, overall you kind of feel dissapointed because the place has potential for so much more with LESS NOISE in the evenings and more LOCAL varieties at dinner.

Dear ReissuBedford, Thank you for your review on your stay with us in HL Miraflor Suites. We do not agree with you that the level of the "noise" is a health issue as it has a normal volume for a minidisco and entertainment shows. Just around the corner there are several bars and CC centers. As all the bungalows are ground floor and situated in gardens it is possible that some insects enter the room. In this case reception can leave you a spray for this. We regret not having met your expectations regarding the food, we are not faced about nationalitys as we have guests from everywhere. We are happy to read you enjoyed the room, the staff, ground and the facilites. Best regards, The management

The hotel compromises of bungalows which means each room has outside space for those wanting to lounge in the sun. The amenities are well looked after with hibiscus flowers and palms creating a relaxing atmosphere. It is a nice touch to have freeroaming peacocks and rabbits. The meals are served over the road in hotel Rondo, there was always something nice to try. Every night has a little theme such as Chinese, pizza or Spanish meals. You could also have your dinner in the restaurant within Miraflore, but we have not tried it. Staff are very helful. Jose, the waiter, kept kids well entertained. Kids (11 and 8) enjoyed evening entertainment with kids disco and Tuburon the shark being particular favourites. We would definitely recommend.

I stayed at Miraflor Suites all inclusive from13 April 2019 to 24 April 2019 with my wife and 2 daughters, 2 & 5 years old.

During my Journey to the hotel I twisted my ankle and reached hotel with swollen foot. I was in pain and in lots of discomfort. We arrived at the hotel and checked into our bunglow.

Next day I visited a medical centre where I got treatment for my swollen foot. These treatment went on until I left the hotel. I was given crutch to walk and foot was bandaged.

It was difficult for me to walk to the dinning restaurant for breakfast and meals and also to find a convenient seat for me and my family. Pleasantly to my surprise acknowleging my condition the restaurant staff at Rondo (where all meals are served and Miraflor suites is related to Rondo hotel ) suggested to reserve a table for me for all meals. The person who offered me a reserved table was Raymond who was incharge of the dinning area and a very helpful person. My table was reserved for me in the restaurant until I stayed at the hotel. I was very humbled by this experience and by Raymond and team who were very kind to me.

Thank you Raymond and team for your help and I look forward to seeing you on 2 April 2020 as I will be visiting your hotel again for 10 days with my family.

Hotel is in the good location has good entertainment and helpful staff.

We stayed here in November and arrived at the complex about 11.30 am. We were served by George on reception- excellent employee , very helpful and it was a pleasure to be welcomed by him.
We were pleased our suite was ready considering check in is 2 Pm-

Room - the bungalow is well equipped, we had a sunny position so if you like the sun ask for one of these - a toaster would of been good . The “ kettle “ is a coffee maker and you fill and drops into a jug - the issue with this is the water isn’t boiling and takes ages to heat - tip I would bring a travel kettle .as per previous comments there is only bbc news channels-

Unfortunately everything you might need is extra cost - safe approx 4 Euro a day , Internet 4 Euro a day and you can hire pool towels - it’s not cheep to stay here and annoying when extras have to be paid for ,

Over all the place is quiet and friendly the staff go out of there way to say hello and the standards of housekeeping is very high.

Food - we were half board , the restaurant is very busy at breakfast and evening meal and it’s very over crowded at times . The breakfast was ok, plenty of choice and opens at 7.30- 10 am

Improvement - unfortunately I feel the evening meal / food needs attention- there is little choice of meat mainly pork or veal and some of the food looks like it’s canteen food not well presented!
The salad bar hasn’t a huge amount of choice , and some evening the soup was very strange just like water with vegetables added to it - over all the standard of food let’s this place down and I am not a fussy eater .

Pool - good size , albeit it’s not heated - the website says it heated - the pool is freezing!!

Overall I enjoyed the location of the property, the staff are excellent and very friendly, the complex and bungalows are a good size and peaceful, if I could book bed and breakfast I may well return in the future -
There are good and bad points at every property- and I am sure management will take note of my comments.

Towel hire is €10 but only as a deposit and you can take it back for a clean one and then just take it back at the end for your money back :) I'm not sure about the iron though - sorry!
