We booked through airbnb but the hostess told us she preferred a review on Trip Advisor. We were a group of 4 girls, the hostess picked us up from the port and dropped us off there as well which was very helpful. The hotel itself is in a great location, just a couple blocks from Agios Georgios Beach and approximately a 10 minute walk to the main port/ area with restaurants and shops. We all felt safe in the hotel and the area around it. Breakfast was provided for us which was really great and unexpected, the earlier you can get down the more selection. She had various types of warm pies, meats, cheese, sandwiches, yogurt, homemade apricot preserves, honey, tea, coffee, juice and a water cooler. If none of this appeals to you though there is a little bakery just around the corner.
Our room had one bedroom with a double bed and the main living area had two single beds. The beds were firm but comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well though it did leave a pool of water on our balcony. We really enjoyed having the balcony to sit and eat our breakfast and there was a rack to hang towels/ laundry. The washroom was very small and it had a very tiny shower to match. Water pressure and temperature were good though. We received fresh towels everyday but sometimes a towel would be missing or not replaced like the bath mat. Free wifi was available and easy to access.
As this was an airbnb booking a little more information on the area and island from the lady who runs the hotel would have been nice but unfortunately our greeting was pretty brief. Once we asked around a little it was pretty easy to find our way around, the main bus station is by the port and tickets are purchased prior to boarding. We used the bus to access some very beautiful beaches such as Agios Prokopios and Plaka beach. The walk to the bus station from the hotel is short. There are plenty of car rental places nearby but you must either arrive early in the morning or find a place that will let you reserve a car in advance.
There are plenty of dining options in the old town area nearby, as well as a few on the way such as Meltemi Restaurant or Scirocco.
I would stay at Villa Flora again since it was clean and the location was quite yet close enough to all the action.
