After some very difficult months due to the lockdown, I decided to treat myself at this fantastic hotel. The setting, the peaceful atmosphere, the courtesy of the staff, the beach, the pool, the breakfast-dinner area. Everything was fantastic, I regained so much peace and energy after this stay. I strongly recommend this awesome hotel!

The hotel is a little bit hard to find since you have to drive thru narrow Italian streets :) , but the pace is nice. Location on a beautiful beach and with a nice swimming pool at the back of the hotel is perfect for family holidays. Staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast was just perfect. Wold stay there again!

This hotel must have trained their staff hard or just carefully picked them. They are all very polite and helpful. Ex. They all know in what room you stay in. This is only what you experience in US in good hotels. Really impressed!
Breakfast is awesome. Donatella is the best, happy and helpful. You have egg and crepes to order. All kinds of Italian sweets and bread, fresh fruit, cold cuts, Spumante and much more.
Two pools and close to the beach. The beach is huge and very clean! The hotel has a piece of it. The beach has thousands of beds. If they all were full it would have been so crowded. But it wasn’t. It was though a very scary look at first. The beach has many things to make sure you are activated. Beach volley, water parks, pedal boat or you just take a run those 15km. It is very touristy! So you need to know what you going in for. Every restaurant has a menu in Italian, German, Russian and English. You also see it at the hotel, mostly Germans and Russians with a few British and Scandinavians.

The restaurant at the hotel is very good. Maybe the best in the neighborhood. The next door hotel, Falkensteiner is the competitor. But overall it is not very good restaurants in the nearest area. TripAdvisor does not work. The ones on top is not good. They are ok, but not as good as the app says. If you have dinner at the hotel make sure you have it outside. If it is inside it is very light and not very cosy.

The downside of the hotel is the small rooms. They say that the standard room is 25m2. But it feels so much smaller. The bed is only 160cm wide. The bathroom is tiny. No place to put things. Either you get a shower or a tub. The tub is weird because the shower is in the middle of the long side. Only half of the tub is covered so you have to have the shower in your hand.
The bathroom with the tub is a tiny bit bigger though. We were 3 in a room and that was almost impossible. We were lucky and could upgrade to a suite for a few nights. That is even weirder. It was probably not built from beginning as a suite because it is exactly the same small rooms but connected. So you have two small rooms with a long hallway between them. But you have more space for your bags. But it is not a suite. A lot of beach hotels have more roomy rooms as their standard room.
Also the wifi is not the best. It is up and down a lot.
Overall a good place though.

An exceptional hotel close to the beach and with their own private beach with comfortable sun beds and free beach towels. The food and service in the restaurant is second to none we were half board and found the quality of the food to be of a high quality.
Rooms are very clean as are the communal areas(pool, bar etc)
The free hire of bikes gives you the freedom to explore during the day or evening with restaurants, bars and shops close by.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful takes the strain out of googling bus times etc.
If ever we holiday in this area again we will undoubtedly stay here.
A 4star hotel which feels like a 5 ⭐️

Stayed for 4 nights in June the hotel was modern, spotlessly clean and the breakfast benefitted from an omelette/egg station. Breakfast could be eaten outside on the terrace. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The pool and beach area were excellent and although I didnt eat at the restaurant reviews were good. It was quite expensive to stay but worth every penny. The only slight downside was the location which was a good 25 minute walk to the central area but you can get a local bus or taxi. Can I just say if you've never been to LDJ before it has the longest and widest beach I've ever seen with restaurants stretching for miles. I would recommend not staying any further out than this hotel in terms of location. Really enjoyed my stay and couldnt fault the hotel - would highly recommend
