My wife and I recently stayed four nights at The Rustic Inn in Jackson Wyoming. I cannot say enough good things about it. We rented a Deluxe King Room and it was very nice. We loved the breakfast every morning and spent every evening with Zach our bartender at the Bistro. Due to the Coronavirus we left a day early and the company reimbursed us for our room. The service was excellent and it is just a short walk to the square. We will definitely be coming back to Jackson.
The rooms are very nice. Kudos to the designer who brought light in, in creative ways. But you can't squeeze a smile out of the front desk, AND, when I informed the front desk that there were no cleaning wipes OR water in the gym to wipe down equipment (after all, there is a global pandemic spreading and JAC does attract tourists from across the world), the front desk staff member literally snarled at me and said she would send someone to bring water/wipes. I was in the gym for more than ninety minutes and NO ONE came with either wipes or water. In addition, the place is pretty empty (most people who are here skiing stay at the mt), but when I requested day after day for a late check out, they kept punting. In the end, no flexibility. So while the room and maintenance/cleaning staff are terrific, not much else good to say. Save the expense of daily texts asking me how I was doing; Instead, send someone with cleaning wipes or water to the gym and be a little flexible when the hotel is hardly full.
We stay in the double queen creekside room with a fireplace! It's large and comfortable including a refigerator, coffee maker, deck overlooking the creek.
Deer, elk, swans, ducks all are there for your enjoyment.
Truly love our winter vacation spot!
We recently stayed five nights during a cold snap. We were greeted warmly at the airport and transported to the creekside inn. Coffee and tea were in the lobby as we checked in. Our room was warm and comfortable with western decor. Jeff, the ski bus driver was friendly and greeted us by name daily. He loaded skis and drove us safely to and from the slopes everyday. He pointed out a moose on our first morning and shared cowboy poetry with the bus. The inn is walkable to town center and excellent restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking to shops and dinner every night. The breakfast, free transportation and kind staff were the extras that make the Rustic Inn special. We will return with our kids in the future. The Rustic Inn is a perfect place to stay while visiting Jackson Hole and the surrounding areas.
We were a group of 18. They met us at the airport with their shuttles. Check in went very smoothly with that many checking in. We had the King room, free bottled water, beautifully decorated, clean, great walk-in shower with plush towels, and great heater. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet was great with many different options. Omelettes were very good. Short walk into town, but if you needed a ride, they provided transportation. As far as I know not one of our group had an issue.
They arranged the Airport taxi to pick us up the last morning because our flight was early and also transportation to another place we visited. Thanks to all of the day staff and the night person who so graciously got us muffins since we were up so early that last morning..
