Stayed here for two weeks while in Brooklyn for an Emergency work trip.
Hotel staff maintained a positive attitude despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
Room was fine but had to ask twice to get a mini fridge put in my room.
Bathroom had been recently renovated which was a bonus.
Slept well the two weeks I was there despite my room being on the front side of the hotel.
The biggest complaint I have about my stay is that the elevators are so noisy that you can't think inside of them.

Just returned from NY...stayed at this conveniently located, recently up-dated Brooklyn property and was pleasantly pleased...staff was friendly, professional, helpful and hospitable...freshly refurbished/appointed room was spotlessly clean, relaxing and comfortable...only negative was echoing noise travel from neighbors and in the hallways (due to lack of noise-abating room/hall insulation, construction, furnishings). Also, the property has Limited parking, and once the daily quota is reached (believe around 3 dozen spaces), you have to park on the street (free on weekends) or about a block and a half away at the closest garage. Plenty good dining, shopping nearby on 5th Avenue (just a short walk away). The daily breakfast was more than adequate and the property has a well equipped exercise room as well as a large panoramic Roof Top area for gazing & gathering (needless to say, weather permitting). Bottom line, based on location and value, would absolutely stay there again should the need arise. My compliments to the entire Fairfield Inn Brooklyn Team for a stay well enjoyed.

This is a great location in Brooklyn within walking distance to the fantastic restaurants up & down 5th Ave in Park Slope. It is also a short walk to the Barclays center for the subway. The hotel was clean and our room had a great view of Manhattan & i want to recognize Sheila at the front desk for her kindness. ( The rooftop had an exceptional view of Manhattan with comfortable seating. ) The complimentary breakfast was well stocked and good.

We were greeted warmly by staff, and had the use of a very nice luggage cart to take our luggage the room. It was nice to be offered a fresh-baked cookie when we chacked in. The room was a little cramped- very little space to lay out luggage, and little drawer or hanging space, but still comfortable. One of the lights in our room didn't work and the maintenance engineer showed up very quickly when we called. When replacing the bulb didn't work, he got us a new lamp. The bathroom was a little problematic- very hard to turn on the shower without getting soaked, and then the shower stall leaks a lot into the bathroom. They put a high threshold on the floor between the bedroom and bathroom to keep the water in the bathroom, but that forms a tripping hazard between the two rooms. But the room was very clean and looked and smelled fresh. We enjoyed our stay and would probable stay there again.

I’d give it a four star review for cleanliness and value but I’m here during a cold snap and there are issues with the heating. My room is freezing it runs AC with a high fan on auto (can’t regulate it) unless I turn the heat to 80 and it boils. I turned it off completely to sleep and woke frozen. The lobby has a cold draft which makes the lounge area really cold too. Staff are apologetic but it seems like owners should try to fix the issues because I’d never stay here in the winter again. It’s only 38 outside today - what would happen at really cold temps?

Room is good, super clean and bathroom is also sparkling.
