I mean if you’re looking for a no frills, average place to stay had the price be right this is your joint. Price isn’t bad, parking is snug, but the room looked like it has been renovated not too horribly long ago. More than a handful of rooms had patrons partaking in the devils lettuce but obviously that’s not the hotels fault. Super friendly and nice check in. I did a full cleanliness search of the room and it was pretty darn clean! I’d stay again!

It’s hard to include everything that went wrong in one email however I will try and will explain the pictures attached.

First, the door to the exterior does not shut all the way and has a crack you can see through into the river.

Second, the curtain in the shower was tattered and ripped. This wasn’t a huge deal but because of everything else I wanted to include it.

Third, the ceiling had a HUGE crack in it that had water damaged and flaking particles over the bed.

Forth, there was red goo on the towel rack in the bathroom. The front desk employee explain to me that this was from paint, however she must’ve not been in the room because nothing was this color red in the room. The front desk employee explain to me that this was from paint, however she must’ve not been in the room because nothing was this color red in the room It appeared to be lipstick or blood from a previous guest.

Fifth, the headboard was chopped and appeared to have been cut with a knife or busted? Not sure how this would happen.

Sixth, this is absolutely disgusting but there was human hair and a hair tie in the bed. When I pointed this out to the front desk lady she repeatedly told me the sheets have been cleaned but did not address the fact that there was a scrunchy in the bed. Her tone came off as argumentative asking if it was in the bed or under the mattress. For clarification, it was in between the headboard and the mattress. This information, to me, does not matter as much as the fact that THERE WAS A HAIR TIE IN THE BED. She told me three times the sheets had been washed and interrupted me to say this and roll her eyes. It’s bad enough to have debris left in the bed from a previous guest, however adding insult to injury as her arguing with a guest about the scrunchy that was left.

Lastly, the bathtub tile had a 1 foot long tile broken off and was precariously placed back upon the side.

This was the worst experience I have ever had traveling.

The location is good. That's about the only positive thing I can say. We arrived and checked in.... got to room- was more updated than the pictures- maybe the old TV and chair were the two that were out at the dumpster for our entire stay. There was vinyl floor, not carpet, which may be better since they allow dogs. There was no mat so by end of day one, the floor was trashed. The AC unit had no cover so the cob webs and filth was exposed. The TV remote was held together with a Band Aid! There was moldy areas, the ceiling was leaking and by day two the bathroom floor was wet due to toilet leaking. There was a bear that came daily to trash pick as the dumpsters were not closed and trash was spread throughout the parking lot. The room was so "damp" that the sheets were moist. We left early and moved to Knoxville because we couldn't do the filth any longer. Yes, the hotel is cheap, but not worth it. Spend a little more and sleep at ease.

Great service, clean room, friendly staff, close to everything. Dog friendly! Since it's in the mountains, can't really fault the wifi. There's so much to do in and around Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Wonderful stay!

Our room was very clean and nice. Big, had a microwave and a fridge. I don’t understand how they are pet friendly and don’t allow dogs in the lobby. The potty yard was small, two dogs couldn’t practically potty at once. I wish it was fenced in as well, but these are minor inconveniences. My view of the river was nice and I wasn’t given any trouble for checking out 20mins late. Overall my stay was nice and I would stay here again, especially for $45 with no “pet cleaning” fee.
