It’s hard to include everything that went wrong in one email however I will try and will explain the pictures attached.
First, the door to the exterior does not shut all the way and has a crack you can see through into the river.
Second, the curtain in the shower was tattered and ripped. This wasn’t a huge deal but because of everything else I wanted to include it.
Third, the ceiling had a HUGE crack in it that had water damaged and flaking particles over the bed.
Forth, there was red goo on the towel rack in the bathroom. The front desk employee explain to me that this was from paint, however she must’ve not been in the room because nothing was this color red in the room.The front desk employee explain to me that this was from paint, however she must’ve not been in the room because nothing was this color red in the room It appeared to be lipstick or blood from a previous guest.
Fifth, the headboard was chopped and appeared to have been cut with a knife or busted? Not sure how this would happen.
Sixth, this is absolutely disgusting but there was human hair and a hair tie in the bed. When I pointed this out to the front desk lady she repeatedly told me the sheets have been cleaned but did not address the fact that there was a scrunchy in the bed. Her tone came off as argumentative asking if it was in the bed or under the mattress. For clarification, it was in between the headboard and the mattress. This information, to me, does not matter as much as the fact that THERE WAS A HAIR TIE IN THE BED. She told me three times the sheets had been washed and interrupted me to say this and roll her eyes. It’s bad enough to have debris left in the bed from a previous guest, however adding insult to injury as her arguing with a guest about the scrunchy that was left.
Lastly, the bathtub tile had a 1 foot long tile broken off and was precariously placed back upon the side.
This was the worst experience I have ever had traveling.
