Well let me start off on a positive note. The hotel is very well situated, it enjoys magnificent views of the sea and is surrounded by lots of beautiful coves. The reception staff at the hotel are lovely and very friendly. Now for the rest of the hotel.
It claims to be a four star hotel. Well it most certainly is not. I doubt it would live up to being a three star hotel. By bedroom, supposedly a superior room, was horribly dated. The bed was hard and made sleep very difficult. The shower refused to stay in its cradle and was awkward to use. The hot water tap in the basin dispensed only a trickle of hot water, not great if one is trying to shave. The towels were thread bare having been used thousands of times. The curtain in my room wouldn’t close properly thus letting early morning light into my bedroom. Each pane of safety glass on the balcony was cracked. This is strictly illegal. Whilst I paid for half board accommodation, I took one look at the food on offer in the evenings and thought it absolutely disgusting for a hotel. I didn’t have dinner in the restaurant once. Breakfast was no better, once again the food was appalling. Limited fruit on offer; one coffee machine and one fruit juice dispenser. All the fruit juices were watered down. No toaster to make toast. Partly cooked bacon in oily dishes, fried eggs left in oily trays.
This hotel has got a hell of a lot of work to do to bring it up to being a four star hotel. If you are thinking of staying at this hotel, don’t. You will be severely disappointed and you will be wasting your money. I appreciate that my criticism is very harsh. The owners of the hotel really do need to get their act together and begin to make significant changes. They possibly haven’t done so far because they are complacent in that the hotel is well situated. Be warned ! My stay there commenced on 16th September for ten nights.

First of all, the hotel is old. Lobby area is clean and felt like luxury but that's it. They have tried to do some refreshments in the rooms but it looked like quite cheaply made. Elevators are really slow and during one week both of those were broken some time so you had to wait really long time to get up or down because there was only one elevator which was working and everyone wanted to use that.
The rooms are basic hotel rooms, quite small but enough for two adults. Pillows were really old and uncomfortable so were the towels, they really need some refreshment. Bed and sleeping was ok. The room wasn't noisy, of course sometimes you hear something from the corridor but that's quite normal in the hotels. But the view from the upper level rooms was great.

Pool area is small and old and the snack bar had quite limited selection. In sunny days you had to go to the pool early if you wanted to have sun bed, so not enough sunbeds but somehow you can understand that because the area was so small. Also the pool was full sometimes and kids were jumping and running in the area so I didn't feel it safe all the time. Maybe having some rules for jumping and running in the area would be good idea.

Breakfast was ok. Nothing special but you could eat really well at the morning. But the dinner was quite lame. The restaurant was full of people and there wasn't straight lines for the food desks so it was quite frustrating when you had waited to get some food someone behind you jump the queue. Also the service in the restaurant wasn't the best, the staff felt like tired.

Hotel location was great.

After all, I had nice week in Vodice and maybe coming back someday, but next time I'll choose another hotel.

The location is very good.Everything else is of really poor quality.
The room is sparse, balcony rusty with sections falling off.The beds are really hard, bedlinen ‘grey’ and torn in places. There are no spare pillows. The AC comes on but is very noisy and doesn’t work properly. Like the guest in 409 it has been hard to sleep due to the high temperature. The bathroom is very tired and in need of renovation. The shower door is almost impossible to close. Some mornings the water has been cold. The towels are rock hard and grey, they supplied two hand towels and two bath towels when we arrived. No bath mat. As the week has gone on the towels have reduced to bath towels only.Toilet rolls are in limited supply. We are here with friends and so occupy three rooms on the fourth floor. All the rooms are equally poor.On some days our friends have had no towels or toilet rolls at all and have had to resort to breaking into the store cupboard.
The restaurant is buffet style, coffee is disgusting, fruit juice from a machine which mixes water with ‘colour’, it is definitely not fresh juice. The croissants are rock hard - tasting stale, the cooked options look congealed and unappealing.Overall the food is of very poor standard and after day 3 I stopped going down for breakfast.
The hotel itself is not as described, there are no facilities. The wellness area has to be paid for - except the pool, but our friends were made to feel very unwelcome when they tried to use just the pool and not purchase any extras. The lift only works on some occasions. We are on fourth floor so it’s not too bad to walk, but I believe there are 10 floors so for others this is probably a real problem. The outside area is very tired, unkempt and dirty. There is a stack of broken furniture and sun loungers in full view. The outside pool is a real disappointment. As said by others limited sun loungers, not as shown in the pictures, and open to the public. It gets very busy and from observation most using it are not from the hotel. The pool is salt water and is unclean and tatty in places. The beach is just outside the pool area so we have been leaving the hotel every day instead.
The town itself is lovely, lots of restaurants, shops etc.We have found the service and food outside of the hotel to be fantastic and I would definitely recommend a visit, just not at this hotel. We have found many nice quieter beach areas by walking along the coast.
Overall we have had a lovely holiday by keeping out of the hotel. We are all disappointed it has not lived up to the description and star rating. It is only two star and not worth the prices being charged.

Room Tip: Rooms on a lower floor would be a good choice as the lift doesn’t always work.

I’m currently staying in room 409 :
A/c does not work and it’s 33 degrees. I’ve asked for a fan and the staff said no & can’t even tell me where I can but my own.
I’ve been here 6 days so far and my room was only cleaned today as I complained
Staff are rude
There are no excursions from the hotel, false advertising
Hotel is in bad condition
Food is mixed but sometimes good
It’s not 4 star and needs to be reviewed
My walls are dirty and looks like dry blood. The balcony is badly damaged
The shower is dirty and feels unhygienic to wash in

We was in room 714 .. on booking we was told we was in Dependance Arausa well there isn’t one we was in Punta. Nice room bathroom balcony with good views. Half board. Sun loungers 30 Khuna per day each which personally I don’t think you should be charged when spending £700 per week for staying in hotel. I also feel that I should mention drinks are chargeable with half board basis with your evening meal. I think this should be included and limited to 2 drinks per person with evening meal that way hotel not losing any money. Other thAn that, good service all round
