Good location. You can walk to the university & zoo but we chose to drive. The room was clean but no shampoo in the room. Breakfast needs to be reevaluated. Poor man in the kitchen was constantly bothered for milk. All that is out is cereal boxes & grab bags. No spoons only knives. Spoons were in the lobby. Grab bags have an apple, pastry & granola bar. I know its limited bc of Covid but this caused a traffic jam. Just put milk, water & juice out- a few at a time. Let people grab it & go! No water or juice for the kids our entire trip!! Also no creamer for coffee. Yes, I asked. They were out. No pool. We were told the pool required reservations & it was booked. Walking campus in 90 degrees, the pool would've been nice. Most staff had masks but not fellow hotel guests. We had a strange experience where we accidentally went to the wrong room & opened the door. Must not have been shut all the way. We thought our room had been cleaned & all our belongings had been removed. Embarrassing. Everyone was very nice about it. I'm sure they had a nice laugh. For the most part, staff was very nice especially the young man at the front desk & the man in the kitchen. The woman at the front desk, not so much. Over all, it was an ok stay for what we were there for. During this pandemic, I will prepare & bring my own snacks & drinks for the kids & creamer for my coffee.

Location is within walking distance to U Cincinnati as well as restaurants.
The mexican restaurant in parking lot is fantastic- GREAT food and value/beers/margaritas.
Room wasnt fully cleaned on day 2 and hot water/coffee urns were empty...
Breakfast service is good- I appreciated the vegan/vegetarian options as well as the smoothies :)
Best part is the staff- very friendly
The hotel is convenient to activities at the University of Cincinnati. I arrived at 3:00pm and found ample parking. There is a great Mexican restaurant, El Taco Veloz, right cross the parking lot from the hotel. Our double queen room was very clean and the decor was modern. The bed was comfortable, but I have to admit that we did not get much sleep. A family in the room above us must have had several small children who were jumping and running back and forth across their room until at least midnight. I could have called the desk and asked them to contact the family, but did not. I only mention it because guests should know that noise from upstairs does travel and if that sort of thing bothers them, they should get a room on the top floor. The staff at the desk was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was quite good. I plan to return here in the near future.
Keep in mind the 2nd floor is ground floor on one side so our room #233 was loud from sirens and traffic on the road. Bed wasn't comfortable at all and parking is limited in this lot if you come in late. But other than that, it's a clean hotel, great staff and rooms are huge. If I stay again, I would opt for a higher floor and be prepared to park on the street or in a parking garage down the road due to the small hotel parking lot.
