I would highly recommend staying at Blue Horizons B&B. The owners were kind and gave great recommendations; the bedroom and the guest lounge were both so comfortable and catered for everything we needed; and the breakfast was delicious.
Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to stay with you again in future.
After touring the Cliff of Moher, my family and I spent the night at the Blue Horizon B&B. Our stay was spectacular! The rooms are big and each rooms have its own bathroom and toiletries. The living room is very well presented and designed and has a telescope! So space lovers, you can stargaze while you stay there. This B&B is not an ordinary B&B house, it is more like a beach guest house.
What a lovely welcome from Tiffany. Chatted about things to do and where to visit, places to eat. Room was perfect, lovely and comfy and spacious with a sea view. The house itself is remote with outstanding views. Warm and welcoming.
Great location, lovely costal drives but if you are on a walking holiday you will have lots of lovely country roads to explore. Having good weather is a bonus but on over cast days there is still lovely little coffee shops to chill with a great book.
Wayne's breakfast was fab (eggs are better than mine and that took a lot for me to say that!!) and has a secret to a fab coffee (made us laugh).
Only 1 minor request and that would be to have shower gel in bathroom only because we didn't bring any. Just a little suggestion by a woman who loves the little extra touch.
Thank you for having us, hope to return some day soon.
Louise and Tony. Xx
The place is lovely, clean, character, very relaxed, room had everything I needed nicely set out. Everything worked as expected, and Wayne and Tiffany were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Well away from hustle and bustle, but a quick drive to the nearest town. I stayed there for 5 nights while I learned to surf in Lahinch just up the road, and used it as a base to do plenty of other activities in the area as well.
This B&B is located some 3 kms from the main road; the last 3 km leg of the road was a bit scary, as it was so narrow, that you could not pass another car.
Views from breakfast room / common living room are lovely towards sea. Breakfast was good irish breakfast. Wi-fi worked well.
Our room was clean and spacious enough, it was also very quiet, which was nice. We stayed two nights and in other places we stayed in Ireland, our room was freshened during the second day, but apparently they do not do it here.
We got some good tips of restaurants and how to get to Cliffs of Moher from here. They were very useful.
Please note, that you need a car to get here and to get anywhere from here. Beach, restaurants, shops etc. can be found some 5-6 kms away from here.
