We had Room 108 this year excellent sea view, lovely garden, friendly efficient service from the extended family. The room as always was spotlessly clean.
the accommodation is a few steps from the beach. Ideal for families or couples

This was the second year we stayed at Semeli Studios, in Skala Potamia and we had a great time, the perfect holiday. The property where Semeli Studios are located is at a distance about 5-6m from the sea. We stayed this year in a studio that seemed to be like in a 5-star hotel and we think the rest are similar. The rooms are big, perfect to accommodate a family. The room is very elegant and separated from the kitchen space, well equipped as well. The studios have each nice bathrooms and terraces before entrance where you can have a lot of relaxation moments.
The rooms are spotless clean. The cleaning service is done daily.
A/C is in every room and also a TV set and a fridge.
The breakfast is plentiful and various dishes are served, from the traditional Greek olives, feta cheese and yogurt with Thassian honey, to home made pies, pasta, tartines and delicious homemade marmelades. Even a fussy-eater can find something fresh to eat at Semeli. The breakfast is served in a garden bar, where in the afternoon and in the evening you can go and have a cold beer, an coffee, an icecream or a snack.
The property has a small private beach in front of it, but if you have little kids you will prefer to walk about 200m for a larger beach, without stones. The property is very close to tavernas and almost everywhere you can have great lunches or dinners. We preferred Krambousa (in the left from Semeli, toward the other end of Skala Potamia) and Flisvos (toward Golden Beach).
And last but not least, you will discover at Semeli a great host who is both receptive to your needs, but also offers you the intimacy you are looking for during holidays. Thank you Eleni for your kindness and for making our both holidays absolutely great. We feel like home at Semeli and will go there next year for sure.

Perfect place for families with children! The room is big enough, very clean; breakfast area (in the garden, common for Semeli and Kamelia) is great (space, flowers, shadow); breakfast contains always homemade jam and cookies. The courtyard is big, children have enough space to run and play. The location is perfect, near the beach and in an area with a lot of terraces and taverns. Thank you very much Eleni & family for a great vacation!

Just back from the most amazing holiday which was made extra special by staying at 'Semeli'
We stayed with 'Semeli' 7 years ago when they were with 'Thomson holiday' and have been trying to get back ever since.
The family who run it are very helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble. They arranged our taxi's from the airport to the port and from the port to the hotel (the taxi transfers in Thassos are paid for by the hotel) After being a little aprehensive about getting on the car ferry with suit cases and 2 children we had nothing to worry about it went so smoothly and the staff on the ferry are glad to help, should you need it.
This family run hotel & studios is the cleanest we've had in Greece, rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Complimentary jams, toiletries and slippers await you in the room. Free air-con ( a must in August) Our rooms (109 & 110) boast views of both the sea and the mountain.
Very central location with just a short (less than 5 min) stroll to the centre of Scala where you will find very traditional taverna's and restaurants. The hotel is on the seafront with its own private beach with free of charge sun lounges and umberells'a.
We just love Scala we fell in love with it 9 years ago and this was our 5th visit and it will not be our last..
