Upon booking I mentioned we would be bringing 2 dogs for our overnight stay. when we entered the room we were overwhelmed, because not only were the rooms nice and fresh, there were 2 dog baskets and feeding trays in the room. This was such a nice gesture (even though the baskets were to small for our dogs :-))

Wanted to keep this place a secret as I always seem to get a room here at short notice .
Very helpful Reception and breakfast staff,
Its on the Spanish, French border which is very handy for my business,
this place is newish, clean, rooms are huge, beds beautiful, bathroom is better than the one at my house
TV got UK news,
Theres a budget breakfast at stupid low prices and there's lots of "Drivers" restaurants nearbye

Certainly for the traveller than a holiday,

But excellent value for money

An absolute credit to their organisation

We decided to spend an extra day in La Jonquera to do some shopping before returning to France on our way home. We found this hotel on booking.com website, as we have never stayed there before. We were pleasantly surprised by its overall standard. The hotel is smart, clean and modern, just like the Premier Inn in UK. The room is large, bright with double glazed window and quiet. The bed is king-sized, firm and very comfortable, so that we both had a peaceful night sleep after the long journey. The bathroom is well stocked with various nice toiletries, although our only slight criticism is the rather small shower head over the bath. Above all, the reception staff we met during our stay were most helpful and friendly. They all spoke good English. They even helped us on checking-in by putting away two bags of food to keep them fresh from the parked car, one in the fridge and the other in their freezer. We will definitely stay in this hotel again the next time in La Jonquera while traveling.

This was in an ideal location for our drive to spain. It is just over the border right near the motorway so you lose no time. The reception was friendly and helpful check in. There was ample spaces outside or you could go in the underground carpark.
There are some restaurants close by and fast food there is a burger king opposite if needed. There is also a petrol station on site and a supermarket so ideal rest place.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. There was wireless and it was very quiet. There were complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer in the room.
A great place which we will be using again in the future.
