This is a great hotel for what you pay. 5 minutes from center of town. There is a Chinese restaurant round the corner people seemed to be going to.
Lovely girls checked us in, very modern, clean spacious room, great wifi. Breakfast is an extra €10 but worth it, you can also go down and have it in your room.
Nice sitting area out the front which gets the sun.
We stayed over the weekend and had a lovely time. Staff and owner very friendly and very helpful. Accommodation very clean and comfortable. The room has everything for a short stay. And Location was first class. Very modern and stylish hotel.
Breakfast basic continental, typical French. No egg, bacon and sausages for English breakfast lovers. Which disappointed my british hubby LOL. I'm German and loved the breakfast.
Could be a bit difficult to find with sat nav, but if you have Points of interest on your device it comes up easily.
No restaurant open in the hotel over the weekend, but some nice places around the location, like Chinese, burger place, Italian etc ......
My title says it all really.
Three of us stayed for 8 days in August, two adults and one 13 year old, The room was meant to be a 'family room'.. . it was tiny. No storage and very little hanging space, we had to live from our suitcases which due to the severe lack of space, were in the way all the time! No kettle facilities, no iron.
That all said. Very clean room and motel, staff were lovely. Nice bar but closes at 10.30pm. Breakfast good but fruit salad tinned which a tad disappointing. Plenty of free parking and good supermarket and a couple of ok restaurants very close by.
I would stay here again but would insist upon a 'superior' room (we were unaware of their existence at time of booking). I would bring a travel kettle and also an iron.
We didn't try the evening meals so cannot review
This hotel is ideally situated close to the exhibition centre in Brexillet, which is why I chose to book again for the second year. The staff are pleaseant and welcoming and speak good English when my level of French did not reach the standard I required.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice decor. Only down side is they are a little bit dark and there is no full length mirror.
Maybe some English or music channels on the television would be nice, but then why spend too much time in your room when there are places to explore.
Last year we ate in the hotel's restaurant and the food was superb, but unfortunately this time it was not possible as the restaurant is closed over the weekend with a limited menu for room service. As an alternative, try Le Koadenn in St Briuec on Rue st Guillaume - excellent, but L'Eskemm's cuisine is excellent quality.
The value of the roms is good for the area and about standard.
Self service breakfast was fresh, however, the choice was limited, with no cold meats or cheeses, which one would expect in a continental hotel.
That said, I would not hesitate to stay at L'Eskemm again.
