Home today following a week at Iberostar Cristina.
Travelling with my husband and two daughters aged 13 and 10 years.
Booked with Jet2, decided to go all inclusive which I'm very pleased we did for two reasons - food varied and delicious and as we visited out of season not particularly a lot of choice for if we wanted to eat out locally.
Staff at Iberostar work do hard. Particular thanks to Cesar the entertainment guy for making us feel welcome and showing us how to shoot (or not in may case)!
All bar staff and waiters/waitresses were great but again in particular thank you to Daniel for his smiles and chat.
Great team Iberostar.
Would definitely recommend hiring bikes if able. We visited some beautiful nearby resorts and Palma. Such a beautiful historic city.
Local buses although busy are another easy way to get about.
Great location of hotel, 7 mins by taxi to and from airport and few minutes stroll to beautiful beach front.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Cleaned daily.
Love the hotels no use of single use plastics.
Mini bar in room great for bottled water.
Indoor pool nice and gym well equipped.
Spa a little over priced I felt but other than that a fantastic holiday.
A ten minute drive by taxi from the airport, which is great.
On arrival at the hotel at around 1pm, we then had to wait for our room to be ready until 2.30pm (rather annoying!).
Our room was lovely and clean, however I can never understand why you pay for three adults and get a sofa bed for one?! Just to note, no tea making facilities, just a fridge and complimentary bottled water.
Hotel is all very nicely kept, lovely pool area and plenty of sunbeds available. Good pool entertainment, yoga, water aerobics etc. Also lovely gesture of free ice lollies and cold drinks on occasions around the pool.
Free gym and indoor pool
!The night time entertainment was very hit and miss. We had a walk out most evenings around a lovely area with shops and beautiful promenade and quite a few cocktail bars.
The restaurant......... Again mixed views.
Pandemonium at peak times (this is only June!) Not enough tables for the amount of holiday makers. Very clean and presentable. The food, well, lets just say it was hard to make a meal, lots of strange variety! Breakfast wasn't too bad, although forever waiting for bacon and eggs to be cooked.
Long trousers not required for men. A lovely complimentary drink each night on entering the dining room.
My conclusion, Close to the airport, a five minute walk to the beach, which I must say is amazing!!
Rooms very clean and the rest was reasonable, no major complaints.
This hotel is nice for a short break.
Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for a short stay in AI but it worthed every moment. The hotel is huge with plenty of space for you to go around plus a massive pool outside. A nice sized gym and a spa (we disnt used that). The room is big with a great balcony. The staff is allways around so if you need anything just ask. The food is great and you have a lot of options to choose from.
A nice place to stay in your holiday.
It was my second time in Iberostar Christina, Mallorca - I was there with my daughter in winter 2018 and we both decided to come back. Nothing disappointed us - it seemed to be even better. Helpful staff, really comfortable rooms, indoor swimming pool (often empty!), decent gym and delicious food with amazing St Valentine's dinner! I'm looking forward to spending next winter holidays there! :)
My holiday was booked through Jet2Holidays for 7 days stay . We stayed in the family room pool side view and it was very tidy well maintained , cleaned every day , towels replaced , bedding made up . The balcony was perfect with an excellent view to the pool , may be would have enjoyed more if it was summer , because the outside pool was closed during December. Stayed in Half board option and then realised a good thought as most of the restaurants are not open during the evenings and nights . Having said that the Buffet style breakfast and the Dinner were excellent , with options to cater everybody thoroughly enjoyed the food , he grilled fish dishes were amazing …my kids enjoyed the food right from the starters to the desserts with loads of varieties to choose from and different theme each night , it was fantastic. The indoor pool and the gym facilities were also good as we used it. The entertainment staff were good mainly during the Christmas Eve and the Christmas day, always had time to talk to you or the kids . just a small minus point ,lack of more English channels in the TV as most of them were German or Spanish .We close to the bus stop and the beach , it takes a short ride by bus to the Palma city, and it was excellent . Overall the facilities , food and the staff were really good, Enjoyed an excellent stay in Majorca with the weather around 18/19’C in December would definitely visit again, had a great time.
