Absolutely incredible place! Close to the town so going out for dinner was easy, but far enough that we couldn't hear the strip at night if we needed an early sleep. The owner was so lovely ensuring to give advice to me and my friend to help keep us safe whilst out, he even stayed up to greet us as we had a late flight and put on the air con so our room was nice and cool for our arrival. The bartender was equally as friendly and was lovely to chat to. Room was completely clean and the self catering equipment was exactly what we expected. Sunbeds on both the beach and at the pool to use free of charge was a great bonus too. We'll definitely be back next year!

I was very lucky to find this great place. The rooms are clean, with Air Conditioning , balcony and small kitchenette. It´s located literally 1 minute away from the beach. The place is run by a nice family, they were very welcoming and helpful and also paying attention that the guests are enjoying their stay. Once a week there is a Greek Night - a dinner with traditional dishes and Dance show.I loved the local prepared food and drinks. The pool was great and relaxing.Overall it was an absolute amazing experience and I can recommend this place for people searching for relaxing vacation and good vibes.

My wife and I stayed at Marina Beach for two weeks at the start of September and found that most of the youngsters were in other hotels, and the people staying there were quite normal, no party animals or idiots. It was quite near the end of the season so a lot of the rabble had already been and gone
As with other reviews we will say that for a cheap holiday it was ok...and we realised that by the basic but usable accommodation. We were lucky enough to be put in room 15 which has the best view of the pool, beach and the sea stretching over to the Greek mainland.
If you are used to luxury then the beds and lack of things like a TV may not please you, but in this area you are meant to be outside enjoying the great views and the many activities that there is to do here on Corfu.
The beach may have a bit of weed, and a little litter on it, but when you start to explore the surrounding area you will find many beautiful places and people who will do anything for you.
You can take the bus and visit other beaches and towns, take boat trips to other islands or even Albania which is a wonderful trip, hire cars, bikes, quads beach buggies and taxis, everywhere you go they will invite you in with open arms, if you just buy a couple of drinks( there is no such thing as `a` drink) then the pool and amenities are yours for as long as you are there.
The variety of food to choose from is varied from cheap Full English to Chicken souvlaki (yum) or if you want to try out the supermarkets or local shops and eat Greek or not, everything is available, but check out the menu before you buy if you are on a budget as the prices on Paxos may be more than you think due to the high number of sailing crew with money to burn.
I am not going to tell you anything about the people who run this place apart from the fact that they all work very hard during the season to keep you as happy as they can.
There are men walking around selling wrist and ankle bands( So Good) was the patter from one of these friendly people,if you do not want an item then just be polite and say no thank you, if you actually start to talk to them then they will start with the patter, and they can be very polite and good with the ladies.
I was bit by mosquitoes on the first night even though I always tell myself to spray up (so spray up) and don`t get caught out like me, they itch and can go septic if you scratch.
Everyone I met in the two weeks we were there were nice and pleasant to my wife and I, so I have no complaints, The area of Corfu is not very large and is different in it`s own ways, be careful on the roads as there is a lack of kerbs(sidewalks) but go exploring and see the real rough side of living in a really sunny country, but wear good shoes, so many people on bikes with flip flops took me by surprise, there are laws and police on Corfu but you can get away with three on a bike with no lights on at night in Kavos, so be careful out there, and don`t become a victim of drink, drugs or getting mugged, if you fall over drunk and wake up in one of the Red Cross units or without your wallet then it will be expensive to YOU so try and not take the pis*, as the drinks are strong and cheap. Overall we had a fabulous time and if you are over 40 September is the time to stay in this Hotel and visit this resort.
Would I go again to Kavos Marina Beach Studios, now there is a question. I'd say yes but of course there are so many places to see in the world

Avoid this accommodation and avoid kavos. This property is so run down and tired , in dire need of refurbishment, no attention to detail at all, cupboards that don't open, utensils that look like they were picked out of a skip, rock hard bed, broken shower head that in fairness they changed straight away, but they walked all over my bath towel to do it, gave me a stinking look when I asked them to change it, wanted €60 to put on the air conditioning, double doors that a toddler could have broken into, didn't change the bedding or towels all week, front door that wouldn't stay shut unless you locked it with a key, and so on.
Outside was just as bad, tired loungers around the pool, chipped and broken paving, ants everywhere, scummy pool water, weeds everywhere, great view across the sea to mainland Greece, literally next to the beach, filthy unattended beach, litter, drug needles and other drug paraphernalia, empty bottles and cans on the beach right outside the hotel. Nice enough staff, but not interested in doing anything constructive around the property, just hang around the outside bar and take your money, the pool table was decrepid, and the bar furniture falling apart. I'm not going to get started on the type of clientele the property attracted, just don't expect any sleep.

We arrived at approximately 8 evening, we were pretty much thrown in a downstairs room.
The rooms balcony was shared with no Sun or light.
You had just a sheet on your bed with no other bedding allocated, both myself and my husband ( who is never cold) awoke through the night chilled, we didn't get, neither needed air con.
We asked for a bulb for a light and was looked at blankly ( even though their English was very good) however this was replaced promptly.
You get no toilet tissues or extra towels .
We bought from the shop a mosquito plug in and left it plugged in the room which we found unplugged by th r cleaner whilst we were out!!
We feel that if your happy to eat and drink at their bar you will get better treated!!
However the pool, beach and resort are very good and the food everywhere is excellent.
