Nestled on a serene beachfront, Ocean Club Resort is lauded for its cleanliness and spacious rooms, though some guests suggest the decor feels outdated. The tranquil atmosphere is occasionally marred by noise disruptions, and while the warm service is often praised, instances of inconsistency and sluggishness have been noted.
The resort's amenities, including the pristine beach and shuttle services, are well-received despite calls for modernization. However, some travelers question the value, considering the premium pricing.

Hotel's Favourite
The Ocean Club Resort was a very nice place to stay. We had a comfortable ground floor unit that also had a large lanai and a perfect view of the pool and the pretty grounds. The resort also has the perfect beach area with plenty of chairs and umbrellas and gorgeous calm waters. We enjoyed the location and the quiet evenings to relax. The staff at the Resort were all very nice and helpful in every way. We greatly enjoyed the Cabana Grill & Beach Bar who always had excellent food, prepared perfectly! The margarita’s and drinks were definite fun. We only ventured out one night for dinner and ate the rest of our meals for our entire stay at the Cabana. We attempted to visit the Opus Restaurant also at the resort, but unfortunately we picked the Monday before we left, and they were closed. If I do get back to the Turks & Caico’s, I will stay again at the Ocean Club Resort.

We stayed for a week at Ocean Club East and had a wonderful experience. We had an island suite toward the back of the property, and while our unit had a few decor misfits, it was wonderful and a perfect fit for us. We appreciated the large screened in balcony (no bugs) with a lounger, table, chairs, a serving cart, and a fan, and we loved sitting out there in the mornings and early evenings. Our suite had a large tiled shower (no tub), king bed with nightstands and lamps, dresser and small closet for storage, tall rattan shelf, safe built into the closet wall (big enough for an iPad and other items), flat screen TV and DVD player, mini-fridge, two burner hotplate (on the balcony), microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, blender, and assorted plates/silverware, etc, and daily housekeeping was provided. The grounds of the resort were lush with flowers and tropical plants and sidewalks connected the buildings, restaurant and bar, two pools, beach, BBQ areas, and office. The Cabana Bar, restaurant, and seating areas have lovely views overlooking the beach. The hotel beach is wide, has lots of chairs and umbrellas, is mostly tranquil, and you can walk to the east with only a few buildings before open beach. We loved this location, and after visiting and comparing it to OCW, preferred the peacefulness and sense of being a bit out of the busier area of central Grace Bay at OCE. All the staff at the resort were friendly, hardworking, and we were impressed with how well managed and well maintained the resort and grounds were. We liked the bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards, and especially appreciated the free shuttle over to West. It's easy to walk the beach or sidewalk down to OCW and Grace Bay town, and we often did, but it was also very nice to have the transportation provided back and forth and we often used it. If you want a bit more gloss and to be in the center of activity, stay at OCW. For us, we visited restaurants in the hotels up and down the beach, and decided our favorite accommodations were exactly where we stayed - at OCE. Oh, and BTW, for New Year's Eve, the big party for the island is next door at Flamingo's (best food anywhere we tried), on the beach with bonfires, fireworks, views of fireworks and bonfires all down the beach, and a band into the wee hours. Since we stayed in the back of the resort, we could enjoy the festivities and then go to bed in peace and quiet. We loved Turks and Caicos, and when we return, this is where we'll stay.

Almost a year ago my wife and I visited Caicos for the first time and loved our experience staying at Ocean Club and enjoying the tropical beauty of the island. Ocean Club was excellent even before we arrived when we booked our accommodation. Because my wife uses a cane to walk, a second floor unit was not very practical and the woman who set up our reservation found a first floor junior suite that was available for us the week we were traveling.
When we arrived the friendly front desk staff made check in a breeze and we enjoyed a ginger lemonade while the staff took our bags to the room. The junior suite was huge, very spacious with a comfortable bed, large kitchenette and sitting area with a big television that we never watched because we were enjoying the outdoors! All of the appliances including laundry machines were is good working order and everything was clean. A nice screened patio leading out back allowed us to sit out in the evening without and worries about insects.
Our room was at the rear of the property next to one of the open concept pools. The pool and grounds were maintained daily by the staff and beach towels were always stocked and available with used towels collected regularly. The walkways to the beach and Cabana Bar were well lit for walking in the evenings but not excessively bright to be bothersome. The Cabana Bar and Opus restaurant were also excellent and I have reviewed them separately. The on-site convenience store was pretty well stocked although they did tend to open late some mornings.
I was very excited about the free bike use that I took advantage of most days to peddle around the area. The bikes are first come first serve, but there are plenty of well maintained bikes and you are given a helmet from the front desk before you head out. My wife loved the on-site spa and had a body scrub and pedicure during our stay.
A huge advantage was the free shuttle to Ocean Club West, which is close to more shops and restaurants and we took advantage of this service several times. The schedule was given to us when we arrived and the bus was always on time. For most people, taking the shuttle to Ocean Club West and walking to Salt Mills Plaza is possible but because of my wife’s walking issues we took a cab there to visit Potcake Place, take a puppy out, and then stop by the shops. The front desk was very prompt and helpful in calling cabs for us.
And, of course, Grace Bay Beach is stunning, all of the hype is true! This was very relaxing and the resort’s beach chairs were well spaced so that people weren’t on top of each other like we experience at the NJ beaches.
Overall, staying here helped make this vacation fantastic. We’re planning on returning to Providenciales after the covid-19 threat passes, and Ocean Club is at the top of our list of places to stay when we come back!

This was my first time visiting Turks and Caicos and Ocean Club was the most affordable hotel we could find for this time right before Christmas. It was a good decision given the price, but some of the amenities were missing. The pros, (this is true for most of Turks and Caicos) the beach is the main highlight of this hotel. Just follow a quick 2 minute path to the beach and you can see the clearest water imaginable. Find umbrellas, chairs, and towels readily available as well as equipment to enjoy various water sports. The gym is actually pretty nice. There are 3-5 treadmills, free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, and mats. There is plenty of space, though there were weren’t a ton of people there. There is also a spa if you want to get massages or face scrubs. The pools are okay. The thing is, nobody goes to the pool. Everyone is at the beach since it is so beautiful and the water is calm (unless there are storms around, then the water is pretty rocky). We sometimes went to the pool with floaties and hung out and we were typically the only people there. The property is well kept, the staff is friendly but there was a sense of going above and beyond. Our room had a small kitchenette (fridge and microwave) and a king size bed. Also, all of the rooms come with a covered netted balcony which is kind of awesome if you have a great view. A lot of people own the condos on the property so you will find the space very well kept and lots of families.
Cons: The property is dark. Once the sun sets, it is fairly difficult to see as you are walking around. There is also a restaurant on the property. It’s okay. Kind of what you will expect from hotel / resort food. It’s a bit overpriced for what it is and it tastes okay. There are also few options. I recommend (if you have a car and if you care) to go to the grocery store and buy some items. The grocery store is across the street from Ocean Club West which is the sister property to ocean club east (and a free shuttle ride away). We did not do this because we were there only a few days, but I imagine if you were bringing more people or staying for longer than 3 days, you may want to get your own food. There are also grills on the property that you can use.
Overall, this was a great stay and I wouldn’t mind coming back. I think next time I may try Ocean Club West or a property that was further towards “downtown” or near other restaurants. This hotel was kind of far away and there was no where to walk to if that is something you like to do.

Another very positive review for this hotel. My only complaint is the lack of pool square footage. They have two small pools (Garden and Beach) but either could have been extended. That being said, neither were crowded during our short stay as the beach is fantastic. Our room was huge with a comfy bed and a kitchen. There is a convenience store on premises so we could have a light breakfast or snack without having to go out as well as keep water/soda/beer in the fridge. They have community grills next to the pool if you really want to cook your own proper meal. The shuttle to the West location is very convenient, especially since cabs are very expensive. They also have tennis courts and bikes for guest use.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience staying with us at Ocean Club! We are happy to hear you were pleased with your room and amenities. We have a lot of property between the two pools, the larger being to the rear of the resort. The pools are most often uncrowded. The resort is intimate in size but situated on a lot of property. Most of our rooms overlook one or both pools and gardens so we do our best to keep them beautiful. We hope you will visit again!

The Ocean Club Resort proved to be a great place for our Turks and Caicos vacation. We had a junior sweet with a garden view. The suite was large, in very good condition, very clean, and the kitchen was furnished like your own home as far as appliances went. We had a large, screened porch looking over the beautifully landscaped courtyard and one of the two pools. Rooms are cleaned daily, including cleaning up the kitchen area. Large beach towels are provided each day. There is a staff that keeps up with the towels, and will also take you and set you up on the beach with your lounge chairs and umbrella. Grace beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, and the water is so clear and that beautiful aquamarine color. The two pools are cleaned every day, and there are nice lounge chairs set up around the pools with large private spaces between sitting areas. This resort was very quiet both on the beach and in the pool areas. While there were children with their parents having fun, you didn't hear or notice them unless you just like children and enjoy seeing their joy. There is a beach restaurant on site just as you leave the courtyard area for the beach. There is also an elegant restaurant with a private outside eating area with white table cloths and a more upside environment. The beach bathrooms are large and very clean. The best I have seen. There is staff everywhere at this resort, all very friendly and ready to help with whatever you need. This is a very nive resort that we highly recommend.

We just returned from a beautiful week staying at Ocean Club Resort. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, however, it was a little dated. The grounds were beautifully maintained, pools were enjoyable, and the beach was completely gorgeous! The beach grill served delicious food and drinks and offered great service. The island was fairly quiet, which was expected with the Covid issues. It seemed that all amenities and services were still available, and we really enjoyed having low crowds at the beach, pools, and area restaurants. We used the complimentary kayak and paddle boards. We rented a car and found the resort location to be within a few minutes drive of most of the restaurants. We absolutely loved the island and I think the Ocean Club is probably one of the best value resorts along Grace Bay Beach.

Room 9111.. First floor has no privacy on porch, right next to where cars park up. Every time the wind blows the bush brushes against the window. Room was not very bright.
Room 9209.. Second floor.. this room is better looking and bright compared to the first floor, but avoid this room because it is full of cockroaches!! I saw an insect, killed it, then I saw another one and another one. I googled to see what kind of insect it was, it was part of the cockroach family, I always thought there was only one kind of cockroach but now I know there’s different kinds. Maintenance guy came round to spray the room but it did not work, I called security during the nights to get rid of insects, I even got maintenance guys to come everyday for 3 or 4 days but it still did not work. I did get offered another room but I declined thinking it will just be a different room but same problem. Then one night before I went to bed I saw an even BIGGER insect!! It was a cockroach, the kind of cockroach that I thought every cockroach looked like. At that point I was definitely going to be moving rooms.
The third room I got given, Deluxe Suite, was much better.
The insect problem kinda ruined my trip, I could have at least got half my money back.
Part from the insect situation it is a nice resort, friendly staff, the pathways are always clean compared to another resort I stayed at the last time I visited TCI.

I am sorry you had some issues during your stay. The fact is that in the tropics there is a chance of a palmetto bug, which has nothing to do with cleanliness. We do what we can to prevent but particularly after a lot of rain like we had, they can appear. Normally one spraying will take care of. I think we handled the situation as well as possible – spraying, doing additional housekeeping, offering you a different room which I understand you initially declined. You mentioned in your review, “I could have at least got half my money back”. I am not sure why you did not mention this at the hotel, and stayed 12 more days. Again, I think we handled as well as we could and were gracious throughout. We are sorry this caused you to have a negative impression of our resort. Best Regards, OCR Management

We had planned to stay seven nights and instead stayed about 12 hours. Their pictures online are extremely deceiving. The pools are tiny, all of the outdoor furniture is plastic, and the tile in our room had dirty grout. The aesthetic of Ocean Club Resort looks like it's from the late 50's and it hasn't been redesigned or refurbished since. The people sitting next to us at the outdoor restaurant were missing teeth. We did not feel like we belonged, it wasn't our "vibe" at all. We got in at night and immediately left the next morning and booked 6 nights at West Bay Club for the same price as Ocean Club Resort and it was ten times nicer. Amazing, we would highly recommend West Bay Club. When we checked in, they said we were the second couple that week that had ditched Ocean Club Resort and come to them.

My sister and I spent 5 days a Ocean Cub Resort; we had a wonderful time. Everything from check in to check out was easy; staff throughout the resort were helpful and friendly.
We loved the beach location and enjoyed both restaurants; the Cabana bar and grill was beachside and the more formal Opus was in a lovely garden setting. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily. We appreciated the washer and dryer as our room was a condo style room with a kitchenette and so we also picked up groceries for some of our meals. And the free shuttle to Grace Bay West put many more restaurants and services within walking distance.
The beach was gorgeous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet clean hotel on the beach.

Yes they have the same basics as a small convenience store.
I don't specifically remember eggs but, as mentioned above, the IGA is easily accessed by the shuttle that runs every half hour
The Cabana Bar is open every day 8:00am- 10:00pm.
The Kiosk at both resorts close at 4:30pm.
I would recommend an Ocean view on a higher floor. Well worth it since the units have large screened in porches.
