Detailed Reviews
What a wonderful surprise The Inn at Grace Bay was for us...gorgeous grounds with a lovely pool, very clean and large condo with everything we needed for a week, and breakfast was even included daily! Ariel was a fabulous host. The condo was cleaned whenever we asked, we got fresh fluffy towels daily, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch on our beautiful terrace every day.
The beach was such a short walk away - we have stayed at resorts on the beach where we had longer walks to get to the sea! The Inn at Grace Bay has some chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach. The water was crystal clear, the sand was powdery, and we walked for miles on the beach every day. There is even some good snorkeling within walking distance. We got to see lots of rainbow fish and even some turtles!
The Inn at Grace Bay is conveniently located near many lovely shops and great restaurants. Walking around feels very safe. The supermarket is also within walking distance, and we saved lots of money by getting lunch food and wine for the room for the week. We only ate our dinners out. Food is fairly expensive on the island, but every restaurant we dined at was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly & service was perfect.
We now have a new favorite Caribbean island - and a new favorite place to stay - Inn at Grace Bay!

Booked this hotel based off the other great reviews we read about the location and the great host and we are so glad we did. It absolutely lived up to its reputation!!
The location is perfect. You are within walking distance to everything you will need. We actually considered renting a car when we were planning our trip but after our first day at the Inn we realized there was absolutely no need. The grocery store is about a 10 min walk and really easy. You have around 20 fantastic restaurants right around you. Shops, ice cream parlors, pizza, bars, fancy restaurants, breakfast places, etc.
Grace bay is a short walk away and the stretch it is on is very quiet compared to the big resorts. We walked past the Beaches resort one day and it was slammed with what felt like 100 of guests on its stretch of beach. In front of the Inn there were never more than 10-15 ppl.
The pool was actually amazing. We swam in it almost every night because it was so warm and clean.
We had room 231 and the sunset view from the balcony was gorgeous. Most nights we watched the sunset from the beach but the one night we stayed on our balcony it was incredible to see and provided some stunning photos.
Ariel is a fantastic host. He learned all of our names within 5 minutes of arriving and he also saved the day for us when one of our scheduled tours never showed up to pick us up. He also provides fresh delicious pastries every morning which we all loved.
Some fun tips (all walking distance):
Snorkeling with sea turtles - we walked down the beach to coral gardens reef. It is a moderately strenuous walk which we did in 30 mins down the beach. Just take a good amount of drinking water cos of the heat. Once you get to coral gardens go to the 11am position on the circle (will make sense when you get there). We saw 3 sea turtles right there.
Shay cafe has an amazing breakfast and it is right next door
Lupo’s was probably one of our favorite meals.
Island scoops has some really amazing homemade ice cream
The only time we caught a taxi somewhere (other than to the airport) was to the ferry and we did a day trip to middle and north Caicos. The views at Mudjin Harbor will leave you speechless.
Definitely do the snorkel tour that goes to iguana island (little water cay). The beach there is only accessible by boat and it blows Grace Bay away. It is postcard perfect.

September 8th - 15th 2023. I booked the Inn at Grace Bay based on all the positive reviews and I can definitely say that our experience matches all the reviews. Where to start? First and foremost I wanted to mention the property manager Ariel. Of all the places we have stayed over the last 20 years we have never been treated so nice and courteously as we were in our interactions with Ariel. He will go out of his way to resolve any issues and greets everyone every morning at the pool side with free coffee and pastries.
These condos were clean and modern with all the amenities of being at home with a full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, utensils , oven, and this saved us a ton of money with the supermarket only being a 12 minute walk. There is a washer and dryer, large bathroom, and really good air conditioners in both the large living room and bedroom. A TV in both in the bedroom and living room with TV apps, Netflix, PRIME, etc.
The beach is a 4 minute walk outside the gate to an absolutely stunning beach with turquoise water and powderly white sand. We have been everywhere Cozumel, Barbados, Belize, Curacao, Aruba, etc. and nothing compares to this beach, it's like something out of a dream.
The restaurants in the area are really good and you have your choice from a typical Turks restaurant with local favorites to burger/pizza places and of course upscale to celebrate special occasions.
Do you like walking dogs? It is only a 2 minute walk to Potcake Place a no kill dog rescue shelter that does amazing work rescuing dogs in Turks and finding them homes both locally and in the States. We showed up there most mornings at 10am to volunteer to walk the dogs/puppies on the beach to give them exercise. It helps them socialize and increases their chances of being adopted.
We plan on going back next year without a doubt. I cannot recommend this condo establishment enough for service, location, and just making you feel like your home but in paradise.
Ariel, we will see you next November 2024! Thank you again for everything. Best, J & G

The unit is very comfortable and cosy. It’s near the beach that you can access on foot and has all appliances to cook and avoid spending on restaurants. It’s near the beach as well. Breakfast served is just a coffee and a croissant in the garden.

Just returned from a week at the Inn. I won't reiterate all the nice things that others have said about Ariel, the manager. He is exactly as described, with all those positive attributes. My room, 231, was on the top floor. For most, this would be an asset, unfortunately, I developed bursitis of the hip, making the frequent climb very difficult. I did like that it was an "end" unit, so only neighbors (if there were any???) on one side. The view was of the construction site of the upcoming "Ellipse" Resort , so realize that you will hear noise during the day. We chose to go to the beach, so the noise did not bother us, but if you plan to stay by the pool you will hear the noise, albeit not too loud, as yet. It looks like this may be ongoing for quite some time. The grounds are small (it is a very small place, maybe 20 units), and there are not that many loungers with umbrellas. I counted two when I was there and they were taken up by books and towels by the same people, all day long, everyday. No sharing??? The room, itself, was very spacious, airy and had basic essentials. Great air-conditioning kept us comfortable. My only complaint about the room was that it was very dated. The kitchen cabinets and coffee table were worn looking...wood rubbed off in many spots, giving an unappealing first impression. Another "pet peeve" of mine are white towels that are not clean looking, even though they are clean. Many of my towels were "stained-looking". It's about a 7 minute walk to the beach, again through a construction site, but at least this one will eventually provide beachgoers a very much needed bathroom facility, making the trudge back to the room to go potty an obsolete experience. I would definitely return to The Inn at Grace Bay, and I remain hopeful that with a few changes, it would be an amazing place.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Grace Bay with our 3 year old son and we could not have had a more pleasant stay. Ariel and Jane care deeply about their guests‘ well-being and do everything in their power to make it the perfect stay!
We were worried that visiting Turks and Caicos during the high season would result in an overcrowded hotel, pool area and beaches, but that was not at all the case. The Inn provides about a dozen lounge chairs at the beach and we only ever saw half of them in use. When the sun was burning, we asked Ariel if he had a beach umbrella for us. Sure enough he had one delivered to us at the beach within minutes.
The beach is about 3-5 minutes walking distance, not too far for even our 3- year old.
The breakfast is comprised of coffee and a variety of croissants and muffins and safely served by the pool outside. The perfect start for a day of activities!
Since it’s COVID times, I’d also like to mention that all shared spaces at this Inn are outdoors and you never enter any shared indoor spaces. No elevators, no indoor hallways.
My family and I are already planning our return to this piece of paradise. Not just to the island but also to the Inn at Grace Bay.
Ariel and Jane, if you read this, THANK YOU for making our trip such a huge success. You rock!!!

The Inn is a very nice 18 spacious/clean condo type units we very much enjoy year after year!
On arrival Ariel, the exceptional totally amazing property manager/concierge, greats every guest with a magical welcome!
Ariel, with his charming personality, attends to any and ALL your needs. He ensures that every guest is happy at all times! You can start your day with his charming “Good morning” salutation while he serves you coffee, croissants, or muffins by the pool!
The units are very well designed with separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and patio.
We very much enjoy having our meals on the patio with a beautiful view of the pool and surrounding garden with beautiful palms and flowers etc.
The Inn really has all you need to have a perfect relaxing holiday and being less than a 5-minute walk to the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean!
We have been going to the INN for several years! And always look forward to going back!
Tremendous and Enormous Thank you to the Management Leslie, Ariel and Jane for their continuous outstanding Customer service and attention to details! The Inn would not be the same without you!

We stayed for a week. I was a little concerned about the location when I looked at the map. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It's literally a 3 minute easy walk to the beach. It's a smaller, quiet complex and the location is great. You can easily walk to all the restaurants and shops. Ariel is a fantastic host and will help you with whatever you need. He also has amazing pastries and coffee out by the pool every morning. The complex is very well managed and kept up. There are nice lounge chairs down on the beach. My only suggestion would be to provide umbrellas for shade on the beach. I noticed on guest brought their own. Ariel can also arrange for one to be delivered for $20 a day. You can negotiate a little better rate with the provider if you want one for the entire week. They deliver and set it up.

We stayed here for 2 weeks over the Christmas Holidays in December. Before our arrival, the host Ariel sent out a communication to introduce himself along with instructions for a smooth check-in. Upon arrival, Ariel greeted us, checked us in and helped us with the baggage to our room. We were surprised how spacious the room was. We like to cook breakfast, and sometimes lunch during our vacation and this condo had a full kitchen to allow us to do just that. The swimming pool was small, but enough for our kids to enjoy. The best part of this condo is that it's literally a 3 minute walk to Grace Bay Beach where there were chairs readily available for sure. Ariel set us up with a gentleman that charged $20 for an umbrella for the day. The condo is located 5 minutes from great restaurants, ice cream shops, and a short 5 mins cab to the grocery store. We loved Turks and Caicos experience so much that have already booked our trip back for May and staying at the same Inn at Grace Bay Condo. We were really blown away by the level of service, the close proximity to everything, and the beautiful beach just minutes away. Highly recommended.

+1
We stayed there for 5 days and loved the room, location, and services. The room is like your own Condo. There is a walking path to the beach, they provided tickets for chairs on the beach. I will add if you want to rent an umbrella on the beach it's $25. Ariel who is one of the managers of the property did a great job taking care of things including helping us book a snorkeling excursion. It is in walking distance to the downtown area with shops and restaurants. If you wake up past the time to have complimentary coffee and pastries provided by the resort, Shay Cafe is a few minutes walking distance. I definitely recommend staying here.

At times it was noisy as we sat around the pool but not so excessive that interfered with our talking or enjoying the solitude of the pool. When I compare the noise at some resorts around the pool this was very pleasant with occasional construction noises. No consruction in evenings or weekend.
It is, and it has the best view of all of the units!! Enjoy!
The inn was open through September. I believe it was scheduled to be closed the month of October and reopening in November. I assumed they were doing some work and did not check to see if they reopened. G
Ish. Manager pops in to make beds sort towels and give it a mop, but not full cleaning service you might see in a hotel. They are self catered apartments so didn’t expect it either
