Highly recommended and here are 5 reasons why: 1) The ONLY Camp in front of the wave so you can surf anytime you want, you don't need to wait for anyone else to be ready, no boats to surf ASU, you can chill watching the wave break and wait for the best moment to just jump in the water 2)...

A group of us stayed at Asu camp during September 2015. Earl, Samantha and their crew run this fantastic camp and made the stay awesome. The main wave is super consistent and seemed to pick up a decent amount of swell and Earl has the area wired in terms of what else might be working in the area and we...

Thank you so much again for organising it all, your camp is definitely a little piece of heaven - we enjoyed ourselves immensely! The waves were great fun, we escaped with only a few minor scrapes, and we scored a heap of glassy barrels. Just want to pass on a massive compliment to the crew you've got working for you...

Asu Camp has just what you need for the perfect surf trip: good food to keep fueled, great waves, and a very gracious staff. Your host and guide, Earl takes the thinking out of your day as well. He has the place dialed and knows where to go based on the wind and swell conditions. With so many quality waves...

Gorgeous spot with amazingly great waves right in front of it or if the mood strikes you jump in the boat and Earl and Samantha take you to one of several other spots close by where you are again likely to have the wave all to yourself. Food is plentiful, outrageously varied and delicious - don't miss Manna's Nuclear Sauce...

I've been to Asu twice, and scored out of my mind both times. Luck? Or is this place just consistently awesome? Probably a bit of both. As far as accommodations are concerned, you can't beat Asu Camp with the main attraction right off the front yard. Sip your coffee until the wind and tide is right, or jump on it...

Go! Hit the waves of Asu, a surfer's paradise and one of the most relaxing places i have ever been to. I recommend this to people who are looking for a simplicity, not much luxury and a remote location to take a break and surf Asu and Bawa, the best waves you will ever see in your life!

This place really is spectacular. My wife and I had been traveling for over a year by the time we had made it to Asu and had seen lots of beautiful islands, beaches, waves, etc and this one was our favorite. If you've traveled in SE Asia, you know that a place with natural beauty can be easily destroyed by...
