Very simple, still fully functional room, good sleep, great breakfast. For the price paid fantastic value. In front of the house there is a train to Meiringen every 30 mins, also a couple o buses go from here up to the surrounding alpine passes. Certainly good place for the Grimsel and Susten areas.

Stayed here for 3 nights while preparing for Alpenbrevet bike race. As such it worked well. They hotel provided service for bike storage and early check in so ok service. Standard of hotel is low end 2-3 star. Breakfast is ok, dinner not great at all. Location perfect for mountain exploring. Free wifi. I would use again as a low...

I had a fantastic visit to the Swiss Alps and this hotel was the best place to stay ever. The hotel has everything you need to have a relaxing experience, there is a wellness area which has Jacuzzi, massage room, salon, beer bath, bar & restaurant. The food in the restaurant is above the average in some European countries, the...

rooms were clean and hospitality was good. overall the hotel was good but not exceptional but the location at the foot of both the Grimsel Pass and the Susten Pass make it hard to be hard on this place. if you are a motorcyclist then this is a fab place to stay.

Stayed in June on a bike trip. This Hotel is an OK stay. It is cheap enough for Switzerland but the rooms are basic. Not overly impressed with the amount of flies - surely they could have done something in the dining room. You get what you pay for I guess.

The location is perfect for doing alpine passes and the hotel is geared fir bikers. The rooms are a little basic with our bathroom rather small. The staff were friendly and helpful were possible. The evening food...

Lots of outdoor seating with gorgeous views of snow-capped mountains (in June!) and the local train. There was a large tv screen outside, but I don't know if this was only for the World Cup. Food isn't cheap anywhere in Switzerland, but the food was really good and not too expensive. I had the best rosti I've ever had, and...
