Hi, the road the cottage is on is the main road through the village of Warkworth. It's not a tremendously busy road as it's just the road through the village but you will be able to hear some traffic noise from rooms at the front of the house facing onto the road, but it will be very quiet in rooms at the back. The path outside is very wide, much wider than a normal pavement.

The Reception/Clubhouse on Felmoor Park, where Arthur's Cabin is situated has a cosy bar, but the nearest pubs are a few miles away (few minutes in the car or taxi) at Alnwick (good range), Felton (the Northumberland Arms - great food) and Newton on the Moor (The Cook and Barker - great food).
There is a pool at Amble Links Caravan Park which is open to the public. If you want something a bit more elaborate there is a waterworld type complex at Tynemouth which is about a twenty minute drive away
