The hotel is located in a beautiful area and is small with a homely feel. Our family room was modern and clean but was small for a family of four. Our youngest child had to sleep on a camp bed which really was very uncomfortable for him. We felt the breakfast time was a little early for a family on...

Hello Ladylonglegs33, Many thanks for your review. Our family rooms have a double and a single bed in each room. Upon booking this would have been explained that a z bed would have to be added to the room to accommodate your second child. Our breakfast serving times are Mon - Fri 7-30am - 9am and Sat/Sun and Bank Holidays...

We were so looking forward to a nice relaxed few days in beautiful Warkworth but sadly the Hotel was not relaxing! There was no sitting area other than the Bar, and then only one chair and a some bar stools. The Dining room looked impressive but lacked atmosphere and warmth. The breakfast period was far too short, to be down...

Our room at the Sun was the Bridal Suite and it was decorated accordingly, it had views up to Warkworth castle and a bath in the room. But there was no shower, no way my partner could easily wash her hair, and no hair dryer anyway! The bed and room were, on the whole, comfortable and would have warranted four...

Hello AlwriterAl, Thankyou for posting your review. Depending on how you booked this room if it was direct, you would have been advised over the phone that this room had no shower. If you booked this room by a third party site i.e. Booking.Com there are pictures of all our bedrooms on there which state there is a roll top...

The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and nicely cooked. We took our dog for an extra £5.00, and enjoyed walking around Warkworth Castle, directly opposite the hotel, so you can imagine, the views are lovely, and probably the best in the spring when the base of the castle is covered in daffodils....

We arrived after 8pm after a long journey from Inchmurrin Island in Loch Lomond. The staff were very friendly and attentive even though we had arrived later than anticipated and they were busy. We stayed in the Bridal Suite which has a superb view of Warkworth Castle from the beautifully draped windows. The room has plenty of space and quality...

We had our wedding at the Hotel and stayed there for a few days some of the rooms are still being update but that didn't spoil our time that we spent there. The staff were great and we had an excellent time. It is a great place to hold a wedding or function.

Stayed here for a couple of nights for a friends wedding. I had planned to take the kids and booked the family room. Luckily we didn't end up taking them as the room was pretty small for anything more than 2 adults and very over priced. The food at the wedding was OK but the beef was overcooked. The selection...

Staff were outstanding from check in and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and everything worked. The castle brew house bar downstairs was welcoming and good value, would definitely return here. Outstanding location on the doorstep of Warkworth Castle

I had my wedding here. The location is stunning for a wedding. Zoe organised my wedding and did a brilliant job. She is very friendly and obliging. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for somewhere to have their wedding.

We received a friendly welcome and the staff assisted in putting our bikes in secure storage. Although this place is a work in progress they are clearly working hard to improve the hotel. The shower was disappointing. The breakfast was excellent with well cooked local ingredients

Hello RMP1958 Thanks for your feedback. We are pleased you had a positive experience from the minute you walked through the door. The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment from the reception to the second floor, and the water pressure has been rectified.
