My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights first week in September 2016. We disagree with the previous review as we found the hotel really lovely in all aspects. We stayed in a room on the second floor with views overlooking the pool and Port Vendres. The room was of a good size and was immaculately clean and kept... More

Like others, I agree the hotel needs a lick of paint to smarten it up, I think it needs to replace the carpets on the stairway, as I felt there was a 'musky' whiff to same. Our first impression of the hotel was poor, as it was judged on the physical appearance and what i considered a very small room.... More

The hotel is located above the port area, but overlooking the sea. As other reviewers have said, it is fractionally too far to walk to the town centre'/port area because there is a long and steep hill on the way back. The hotel has a beautiful aspect and a swimming pool overlooks the bay. The room was immaculate and the... More

We spent four wonderful days in this excellent hotel. The setting was spectacular and the food was delicious. At meal times the service was very good but during the day it was tricky to find staff. The ambience was really memorable.

We stayed for 6 nights on a B&B basis and found the hotel to be very clean, comfortable and welcoming. A great relief from the usual run of international chain hotels, this is a little gem, within easy walking distance of the town, port and harbour. The staff were extremely helpful and Virginie in particular was of great assistance when... More

A very pleasant place in a lovely port. Despite the appearance on Google Earth it is quite a distance from the railway station where there are no taxis. The view is perhaps a little more distant than the pictures suggest and the road sometimes noisy but the garden is peaceful, enhanced by the enchanting tame free running rabbit. The rooms are... More

As other reviews have said the building exterior does need a lick of paint, however once on the terrace under the cedars or in the pool with sea view one doesn't notice. We were blown away by our junior suite in the garden with own terrace ,comfy beds, fantastic Italian shower and corner sofa so plenty of room for a family of... More

We stayed 6 nights. Our first impression was coloured by rather tired external décor. However, we quickly forgot that. The room was not large, but was comfortable and clean with a view out over the port, All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. It is about a 10 minute walk into the town, and a bit more... More

This hotel is up the hill away from the town, not really in walking distances for places to eat, although we did not try it's restaurant. Looks nice on the photos and on first impression. Helpful staff on reception, and when showed to the room we booked, double with balcony, it had twin beds. The booking was checked again and... More

We hadn't booked (or even planned) to stay here but there were problems with the other accommodation we had so we came here to see what was available (we had already decided to book into the restaurant). the receptionist could not have been more helpful and allowed us an option on the rooms until we had sorted everything out.
