The intent of my trip was to check out the resort and preview the areas they utilize for weddings. I am thrilled to report that I was incredibly pleased with the resort, the on site staff and management are amazing and I will be getting married there in July! :) The resort is elegantly designed and has beautiful pools. It's... More

Very nice ambience, luxurious environment. Good breakfast included. Night ambience was very cozy and had many activities. You need to pay for all your food and drink needs be sure to add these to your budget.

My husband I came here on our honeymoon. If you are looking for a place to relax for the value this is a nice place to stay. However, we were caught off guard that everything needed to be paid by credit card or charged to the room, which was not mentioned to be ahead of time. This tactic will obvisouly... More

Poorly managed and maintained rooms....not worth the cost. Ask to speak to manager after 3 room changes in 1 week due to maintenance and room flood. The manager did not have the courtesy of a returned call ever.

Room was terrible and low quality. Just doesn't go with the price tag. 2-3 star quality. Everything looks outdated. Bathtub was terrible. Hot water was lukewarm. Sofa had stains. No plug points near bed.

Check in slow, but courteous. We arrived on Thanksgiving Day, hotel was maybe 25% full. Too late to search for a restaurant, and being a holiday, ate on site. Awesome meal, but $120. Friday the lines to check in were unbelievable, glad we were already here. We had rented a car so ate all meals around the area, excellent, reasonably... More

I will never return to this hotel. From the hour long check in to moldy smelling sheets and pillows. I've never stayed at such a place. I'm sitting in my room waiting 45 min now for house keeping to change my sheets because they're yellow and smell like mold. My daughter called room service and let it ring for 20... More

Siding door/windows were wet in the morning and moisture had come into the room. Moisture got into my camera element and a couple lenses. Camera and lenses were in zipped up camera bag and on a chair away from the sliding door/window. I had to quickly do damage control. Just a heads up to other filmmakers. Could set you back... More

PLEASE HELP LOTS OF QUESTIONS!!!!!

I was able to purchase this hotel as a Groupon deal for my best friend's 40th birthday. We aren't traveling until June 18th and this will be both of our first times in PR. The photos took my breath away and the cost was reasonable enough for me to surprise her with the gift after having some pretty rough times lately. I am really hoping this much needed getaway gives us a chance to escape the blues.

I know about the deposit per night, but usually deposits are returned unless you use them. However it seems like people are stating that they are getting charged for ludicrous items. (Towels cost what?) Or complaining about the treatment and true condition of the property. Then some are saying its a dream come true.

We don't expect million dollar service, just a good, peaceful beautiful time. Without me feeling the need to hide a credit card statement from my husband. We are extremely excited to be taking a trip together (having our own families and work makes that hard). Some person even said they were charged an upgrade fee of $3k?!! That is what scared me enough for someone who has been here to hopefully set my mind at ease.

What is included in Red Level? Is it a better option than paying a la carte? We are blessed to have breakfast included in the Groupon (thanks!) but it seems the Red Level doesn't do much more than that?

We've been hoping to come to Puerto Rico for years. Any advice would be truly appreciated. This place is very very pretty. I truly hope its the paradise it appears to be in the photos! The pool alone is amazing!!

Also more about the beach? Do swim shoes help with the rocks or don't bother. How about excursions (budget friendly).

Thanks to everyone who replies in advance. I will be responding after our return.

Happy Travels!
