Can't fault anything with this beautiful B & B. Our room was amazing - it was large, clean, tastefully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. We loved the tea and cakes on arrival (& the homemade biscuits in our room!). Breakfast was perfect and very tasty. We found Sandhills a great base to explore the Lake District and we...

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Sandhills Farm. Helen is the perfect host and offered great advice on the local area, walks and places to eat. Our room was spacious, attractive and full of character. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the northern lakes and hope to return again soon.

Had a week here in September. Fantastic host and accommodation in an ideal spot with walks right from the door. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with fresh milk supplied. Breakfast was really good and set us up for the day. Too much to do in one week so already rebooked. Had own keys so could come and...

Spotless, great location, a fair price but most of all WOW! Helen greeted me warmly and took me to my room and I nearly fell over it was so gorgeous. A beautiful spacious room, arrow-slit windows, golden criss-crossing beams overhead, warm, sunny and with a welcome tray of home-baking and tea/coffee freshly made. The bathroom matched the bedroom, massive walk-in...

The B&B rises in a quiet and relaxing location, a stone's throw from the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake and the Mirehouse estate. The center of Keswick can be reached by car in just few minutes. The rooms - with beautiful beamed ceilings - are large and comfortable, with all the accessories typical of British hospitality (set for tea, hair dryer,...

Stayed for 2 nights in this charming, modern, comfortable and well appointed B&B which is on a working farm on the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake. Warm and friendly welcome with a tray of tea/coffee and cakes. The ensuite rooms are spacious with lovely views. Breakfast was certainly filling and would set you up for the day. Looking forward to returning....

We had a great stay at Sandhills. The rooms are very well appointed, large, quiet and comfortable. Ability to have tea and coffee in your room with homemade cookies included. Breakfast and the morning chat was great. A good spot to base yourself for touring around and would definitely recommend!
