We had our annual "Lakeland Christmas Party" at this venue and it was excellent all round. Good food, and very comfortable, tastefully decorated/ furnished room. We were all looked after so well by Martin and his wife, making us feel very much at home. The hotel's refurbishment is almost complete (Dec 2016), but it still retains its' old character. Beautiful...

My husband and I chose this place as it is dog friendly. The dogs are allowed everywhere and welcomed with open arms. It's a lovely old house which feels so comfortable to be in. We had a drink in the lounge in the evening and it felt like a step back in time, as though being in an Agatha Christie...

We had a view overlooking the lake, which was stunning. There were four and a dog in our party and all of us were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast and...

We booked a short break last minute and had a great time. The hotel is in a lovely location and it is one of the best dog friendly places we have stayed in. A dog bed, bowl, towel and treats were provided for our Cocker Spaniel which was a nice little extra. They also have an outside wash area for...
