We loved our stay at Mundo Milo! It's beautifully set underneath the trees, the rooms are quite large and comfortable, the small fridge and coffee maker were a very nice touch. The pool is perfect to cool off at the end of the day. The location is great, a 5 min walk to Junquillal Beach and short drive away from...

The little home we lived in is beautiful with a really nicely designed bathroom, a small terrace with a sitting area/ The room is spacy, air-conditioned. and everything was clean and inviting when we arrived. The property has tall trees, so it's not hot even in the middle of the day. Breakfast is really good and interesting, and you can...

We only stayed for one night, but wish we had stayed longer! Great place to stay for peace and serenity! The Dutch couple that built and run the property are very welcoming and wonderful hosts. We chose this hotel as it was half way from the airport to our rental property. The casita was simple but very nice to stay in, and Playa Junquillal was almost deserted save a few fishermen. The food was great - we ate both dinner and breakfast here - and we very much appreciated the extra effort made by the...

- Remote and quite, but a pleasant 2min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches you can imagine - enjoy sunsets alone! - Comfortable and super clean rooms with perfect A/C and large de-luxe bathrooms - Outstanding food! The super fresh, creative and just delicious cuisine would stand out in any upscale restaurant in New York, San Francisco, Barcelona...

Miguel and Liekel have just expanded their kitchen to accommodate the ever larger crowds that make lunch or dinner a must for any trip to Junquillal. The pumpkin soup is always good. Sushi on Tuesday is a must. Since both Judith and myself are gluten free, the selection of gluten free menu items makes this restaurant a place where your...

We had 2 cottages with our son, daughter-in-law and grandkids for our 1st 2 days in Costa Rica. After a week in a beachhouse, my husband and I arrived for an extra 2 days. Not right on the beach but a short walk and we loved it. Lieke and Michael were wonderful, warm hosts as was the staff. The rooms...

Playa Junquillal, is a lovely, lonely beach south of busy, crowded Tamarindo. Mundo Milo offers roomy, clean, and comfortable cabins. All the utilities work nicely. The pool and rancho are great for lazy hours. Lieke is a lovely hostess. Her open, but covered dining area is the best place to sit and watch the afternoon rain. The dining room also...

We stayed here for three nights and had a wonderfully relaxing and chilled out time in this laid back friendly Eco lodge. Food is excellent and the pool a refreshing respite from the Pacific coast heat. Close to the beach and a 15-20 minute walk to the local supermarket the bungalows are cosy and more than adequate. The host, Lieke,...
