I think this is a great place for couples, especially couples who are looking for a nice, clean room and a pool to cool off in after a day of hiking and being at the beach. We had our family with us which included three small children. They really aren't set up for small children. Leitka offered to check on...

We found this place by accident. Quiet, nice service, a small but sufficient pool and outstanding cooking. This place is managed by a Netherland couple and the whole place is wonderful. Its driven by passion. It is a quiet place where you can sit and enjoy the nature and find some peace. The cabins are roomy and individually designed. Clean...

This was our first stay in Costa Rica. We like to find unique, family owned places to stay and a free breakfast is always a huge bonus. Mundo Milo, run by Lieke and Michael goes above and beyond. They make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and check on you daily, making sure you are drinking enough water,...

This is our second time staying at Mundo Milo since we enjoyed it so much the first time. Again it was perfect - we were in a different room and it was equally great. We really appreciated having a small fridge, air conditioning and a nice big clean room. But I think I know what we most appreciated about Mundo...

I LOVE IT HERE. There is nothing bad to say. We are not sure how we found this place but we were truly happy we did. WOW!! is the best word to describe it. Beautiful setting, wonderful hosts, great pool, close beach, great bird watching and private. We stayed in the safari room for a week and I loved it....

My husband and I recently vacationed for two weeks in Costa Rica, our first trip there. We have three children and we hadn't traveled without them for more than a day or two in over ten years. We flew from freezing, blizzardy New York City into Liberia and rented a car, then drove to the Mundo Milo Eco Lodge, where...

Unique small owner operated lodge with five cabinas in the "jungle". We were there during dry season for four nights. I can imagine how dense the vegetation would be during green season. That's when I'm going back. We loved the seclusion, rustic and super laid back vibe. Nothing fancy. Unique themed cabinas. We stayed in the Persian. Cool mural. The...

The facilities, the location and, most of all, the hosts are wonderful. Lieke and Michael are friendly, knowledgeable and operate a first-rate small resort. The beach, a short walk from the hotel, has a turtle sanctuary (Asociación Vida Verdiazul) to the south and is connected to other beaches with their own distinctive flavor to the north. Don't miss a kayak...

The Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is quietly nestled in the tropical forest yet conveniently close to Playa Junquillal. We stayed only one night, but greatly enjoyed everything in this place. First, comes the location – only a few walking minutes away from the ocean. You can indulge yourself with a long walk on the beach during the day and then...

Mundo Milo is the perfect spot for a relaxing stay in the Guanacaste. The wonderful beach at Junquillal is virtually deserted. More activity can be found not far off by car at Avellanas (Lola's!) and even Tamarindo (way to busy for this writer's tastes). The lodge itself is a real gem: nice (themed) cabins, space to relax by the pool,...
