That is because all I have are good things to say about this hotel. A group of us had to make our twice yearly trip to Golfito to take advantage of the free zone buying. A couple of years ago we decided to make it a buying/vacation trip all in one. Having stayed in different hotels each time(mainly due to...

Our team is glad that you and your friends enjoyed your stay and we all are looking to welcome you in July again! We just added a few new dishes to the menu - hope you will enjoy them, too. Doris & Manfred

As part of a month long visit to Costa Rica we discovered Hotel Palmeral Dorima by chance and spent a wonderful weekend enjoying the tremendous hospitality of the owners, the pool with jungle views and shared their enthusiasm for plants and birds which we watched feeding as we enjoyed our breakfast. It is close to the Osa Peninsula and it's...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Palmeral about one month ago and had a really wonderful experience. The staff were very attentive, the room was really clean, and there was such a wonderful breeze by the bar as we sipped our michuladas! If you are passing through, make sure you stop here.

We weren't planning to travel to the Golfito area but we ended up having to look for a last-minute hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and cosily decorated rooms, the pool with the excellent view, and most of all by the excellent food! We couldn't stop ordering, and truth be told we did little else there than swim...

Very pleasant stay. We enjoyed every corner of the hotel, the owners are great, so does the hotel view. You are woken up by birds and the nature background. Its a piece of heaven in the middle of the mountain.

We traveled down to Rio Claro to visit the family that my brother lived with during his 2 year stay in the country. To be honest, we didn't expect much from a hotel in that area (having been there before). We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to this hotel. The grounds were amazingly beautiful with great views of...

I would like to express how great our stay at the hotel Palmeral Dorima was, when we arrive at night Macho was waiting for us to show us the rooms, the rooms are very spacious, king size bed plus a single bed, high ceilings, a mini fridge and enough room for your baggage. Next morning Doris was up waiting for...

When we were at the Palmeral in March, they had temperatures from over 30C for weeks. It was extremely hot and dry, so we were shocked to find out that the rooms did not have air condition. There are rooms with AC at the Palmeral but although we were the only guests with a group of 14, we didn´t get...

Thank you for your comment. Regarding your stay, I have to add that your travel agency booked the rooms for the group without A/C but with ventilator. Upon request and for an extra charge we offered several clients to change the room, but we had only six rooms with A/C in this period not more. At the end of the...

The only thing we found wrong with Hotel Palmeral Dorima was that we had to leave. We were pleasantly pampered by our gracious hosts, Doris and Manfred, who know the exact formula for creating an ideal vacation - sparkling clean, comfortable and modern rooms, an exceptional personally created cuisine, a peaceful environment that attracts some of Costa Rica's most colorful...
