I stayed here for one night on arrival in Melbourne, it was booked at very short notice as our other accommodation was a complete disaster and we refused to stay there. We booked Evancourt motel through a third party website, and when we arrived to check in one hour later we were told the double rooms were filled and so...

The motel is clean and tidy. I have a single room which was fine, with TV and fridge. My only point is that you only get a very small heater which is inadequate for keeping you warm in winter. Take an extra blanket or two

Location is good for Monash university. Motel looks bad from outside and parking a tight squeeze. Chinese owned and managed and the guy checking me in was abrupt with a greeting of "you pay now!" However room was quite big, clean and had an average bathroom, kitchen and good tv and free wifi. Probably I'd stay there again.

Rooms were small, too small if you were planning a long stay but fine for overnight. Close to the Tennis (Big Plus for me) Pleasant surroundings, A few less diffusers would look better. All in all it is budget accommodation and that's what you get.

Not a good motel, we got a standard double and the space between the bed and wall was about 600mm, we are not small or large by any means but this was cramped. I asked to be moved to a larger room and we were, cleanness not too bad but corridors smell, plugins and diffusers everywhere not a good look....

Nice welcome from the hosts, clean and near two train stations into the CBD of Melbourne. Air conditioning unit in the room (yay!!) which for us was 10 out of 10. Given small room but once requested got changed for a bigger room with a wardrobe for our 4 night stay. Advertised toiletries provided but got shampoo and conditioner only...

One of the worst places we have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The only plus was that the room was clean. Don't like the way they do business at all. You are hog tied into paying in advance and did not have a chance to say "stick-it" unless you wished to loose the total price. The first room...

All the reviews had me a little worried about staying here. The tennis was on and this was the only affordable hotel for us at the time. Other than the plug-in scents in the hallway, it was an affordable, pleasant hotel. It doesn't deserve the bad rep. Would stay here again :)

Evan Court is by no means 5 star but for what we paid to stay 2 nights ( 3 adults, 1 child) I was quite happy. Rooms were clean although could do with a update. The room had everything we needed and was quite spacious. Although not terribly sound proof. But as I say if you are on a budget,...

Stayed here as there was no other accommodation during a busy weekend. Go shocked by the reviews and almost backed out but pulled through and got here. It smells a bit like dust and is a little out dated but for the price we didn't expect anything fancy. The staff were friendly on arrival and the room was clean and...
