Good place to spend the night (especially if you are searching for a cheap place to stay near Switzerland), but not a best way for vacations. Hotel appears in deep countryside, it seems that no one lives there. Breakfast - continental. Wifi works only near the restaurant stairs. One big big minus is the smell. All the area stinks dung...

The owners were very friendly and the rooms were comfortable if a bit basic. The breakfast was good, but the evening meals were superb, on our second night we shared a mixed grill and at 28 euros for two it was a very tasty and sumptuous meal. We stayed in June and the temps were warm (in the mid 80sF). Like most German hotels there was no AC so we had to sleep with the windows open. There were church bells ringing all night and people talking below our room who were having drinks on the hotel patio. Reception was pleasant and helpful and the owners spoke...
