You know when you arrive in Cornwall and it's raining cats and dogs? Well, you won't mind if you're staying in the VIP Lodge at Gwel an Mor. I certainly don't mind staying indoors in a beautiful and comfortable bed, listening to the rain pattering down, when it's so much nicer than my own home. Everything about this property is...

A very relaxing place with very well equipped lodge, very clean and with all mod cons including an outdoor hot tub and, for the teens, the essential wifi. staff are very friendly and helpful. a good gym, swimming pool with steam room and sauna. The on-site nature events are really good and very reasonable. Gary the guy who runs the...

We stayed at Gwel an Mor in July. The lodge was immaculate, everything clean and comfortable which was what we needed after a long drive. Resturant on site was really good, food was nice. Best to book in advance for a table though as it does get busy. Portreath beach is only a short walk away and gave us chance...

Enjoyed our stay at Gwel an Mor. The lodges were very well equipped and we had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the outdoor games and the swimming pool. Gorgeous views over Portreath. We enjoyed a nice meal at the restaurant and thought it was reasonable enough. The highlight of staying here for us was probably Feadon Farm which sets...

From the moment we entered our Residence 3 Bed Lodge (No 97) our expectations were met; excellent decor and furnishings. Everything you would require for a five star self catering holiday, to the smallest detail was thought of. Great sized hot tub for our family of four on the exterior decking to fantastic views out over the countryside to the...

Best review we could give is that we love it so much here that we are buying one of the new Residences! Staff are possibly the most helpful people you could wish to meet, setting is perfect for country walks and beaches alike. The town of Portreath is definitely improving so we can't really fault out holiday here this week...

Our 2nd visit. The lodge we stayed in was starting to look as though it needed updating. I've read a few reviews regarding the hot tub, it is only for 2 people. We were a family of 2 adults & 2 kids, the 4 of us couldn't all sit comfortably. We also had problems with the lodge leaking from the...

Second time visiting this five star resort, this time with two teenagers and a dog. Accommodation is excellent and the setting is fabulous and just a 15 minute walk to the village and beach. This time I would say we found the restaurant over-priced for the quality of food - you can definitely eat better for cheaper in the area....

This resort was fantastic - fabulous lodge, which is indeed luxurious. Great staff, very welcoming and accommodating. The facilities are great with an indoor pool, plus outdoor activities. It was lovely and quiet with the lodge being detached and the views were great, with a sea view. My daughter in normally fussy about sleeping arrangements but there was ample rooms...

Diana, Lovely write up and thank you for taking the time.
