A charming paradise right here on earth... never thought it was possible! We made the Quinta Escencia our home base to explore Costa Rica and it quickly grew on us to not want to leave. It was so very relaxing and everything we wanted was right there, including a stunning beach! Our hosts Charlene and Gerard made us feel like family, something you will never find anywhere else. We will be back!

This wonderful B&B situated in a beautiful setting is quaint...stress free and relaxing. We were welcomed by the Host Zemina who was thoughtful and catered to our every need. Our breakfasts were lovely, consisting of fresh fruit, a variety of breads and fresh squeezed orange juice to accompany the coffee or tea of our choice.
The rustic feel of living in a tree house is quite unique. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda ...feeling the breeze and watching doves fly ..as we enjoyed a cocktail or two.
Our host was very helpful to arrange a tour for us to go to Cipanci National Wildlife Refuge as we got to see spider monkeys, crocodiles and rare birds.
A Close proximity to the Liberian Airport, restaurants, coffee shops and beaches, this B&B is affordable, clean and comfortable. Our quest room was sizeable and had a new king size bed and a twin bed as well with a three piece bath.
We look forward to returning soon to stay for a retreat to recuperate after dental surgery. The owners have a great rapport with Dentist and Doctors for Health and Wellness treatments in the area.
