To only 8 km of Tadoussac, we welcome you in one of our 10 chalets, classified 4 stars, equipped in the electricity and situated on the edge of a lake. The beauty of the landscapes, the tranquility of the forest and the smell of the undergrowth will make you the intense stress of the hectic life and the city forget. Come to observe the plentiful fauna, in its natural environment.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and very comfortable. There was a kitchen on premises with everything you might need to cook and store your food. Breakfast included. Cereal, toast, muffins, croissant, hard boiled eggs and everything else you need to go with this. Great coffee too.

Was a bit hard to find as the name was different to the place name on my reservation (Auberge La Taniere) Lovely location and we made full use of the BBQ and the canoes. We stayed in room 3, so we had no lake view, but was no problem the room was comfortable and very clean ( apart from the centre light with had a collection of dead flies in it) Really hated the cheap door locks, was a real pain trying to lock and unlock our room and other guests said they were having the same problem. The kitchen was very well equipped, if you felt like some home cooking. The breakfast though was somewhat lacking, no cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit or freshly baked bread. Just toast bread, eggs and everything else plastic wrapped. Having said all that, would stay there again as I enjoyed the location.…

A lovely place with fabulous views. We had room 6 which was stunning, with an extremely comfortable bed. A fabulous concept for self catering with a very large fully equipped communal kitchen and dining room where a very comprehensive continental breakfast was served. You could eat in the dining room or take meals into your room.

We were given a chalet not facing the lake. The windows were falling to pieces. We booked for three, so they added a bed in a room already too small for two. We could hardly sleep..the mattress was so thin. Minimum information when we arrived. We complained. Still waiting for apologies from owner...personnel quite agreed with us ! A scam !!!

I was happy here for many reasons. The rate is reasonable, it's impeccably clean, I had a great view of a little lake just below my deck, boats and kayaks were free to borrow, there's a nice hiking trail around the lake, there is a kitchen in the building for guests to use and it's stocked the night before for breakfast (and a late night raid, I'll confess). Management speaks English--not at all common this deep in Quebec. Guests were mainly nice families who weren't loud. A pool would have been nice, as well as at least simple hard boiled eggs for the otherwise very generous breakfast, but many kudos. BTW as a vegetarian who somehow ended up at a hunting lodge, I lucked out in not seeing anyone with gunned down animals. The guests seemed to all be passing tourists like myself. …

We had some trouble finding this place, as we arrived in Tadoussac during a thunderstorm and heavy rains. Our gps couldn't find the address, so we had to ask for directions, which were a bit misleading as well. If you come from Tadoussac, there is a sign which clearly mentions 'Club de Chasse et Peche Tadoussac', but if you come from the other direction, this sign isn't visible, and there's a big sign in the middle of the property with a completely different name, which is a bit confusing. It seems the signing is a bit of a problem, because on the property itself there's also a sign which points to 'chalet 1-5' with an arrow to the left, but actually, they are in the large building to the right. Online we saw there wasn't supposed to be wifi, but upon arrival we saw we had wifi-connection (if this would be important in such a great place). Apart from this, our stay here was magnificent! The room is very nice and comfortable. The view on the lake is absolutely beautiful! You can use the boats to explore the lake. The breakfast is self service, but you have everything you need. We loved it here!…

We had a beautiful cabin over a lake. Free use of some kayaks and rowboats! Water in the cabin is not potable as it come straight out of the lake. Kitchen appliances and plumbing all worked well. No complaints. VERY SPACIOUS! Beautful screened porch overlooking the lake. Wonderful dry firewood provided. A little difficult to find on arrival in the black of night.
