All the thing was good in Hotel-Motel Coronet. The room was good with a nice balcony. The staff was friendly and responsible. I missed my key there and they send immediately. It is a good choice for a stop-and-go.
Wasn't sure what to expect with this hotel on the highway outside of Sacre-Coeur and Tadoussac. Yes it is connected to a diner, store and gas station, but in this more remote area, that is a good thing. You'll find the meals less expensive here than in touristy Tadoussac, but the hotel itself is perfectly fine and was very clean. No complaints about the room at all. Actually quite a good location for exploring the Saguenay area, presuming you have a vehicle. Drove in on highway 138, then the ferry to Tadoussac. In the morning saw various vantage points of the fjord off of the 172, crossed the bridge (175) in Saguenay and drove the very beautiful highway 381 back to Baie-St. Paul. Would recommend staying at least 2 nights in the area though, we were too rushed. My French is awful, but people were very friendly.…
The motel Corenet offers simple, decent ensuite rooms on the main way on the north shore of the fjord du Saguenay. Pretty close to the Saint Marguerite park and 15 minutes away from Tadoussac. The place is maybe a bit pricy, and so are breakfast and dinners for what you get. However, it is a good choice for a stop-and-go or even more days to explore the region with a car.
