Location and view were great. The fire pits and outdoor chairs were a nice feature. We stayed in a cabin. Luckily we had a utility tool so we could screw the door handle which was loose and not locking. The patio door didn't lock. The floor sagged. The toilet leaked from the base and the walls showed prior water damage that was just painted over. For the amount they charge, they really should re-invest in the property.

Love this location. Motel is outdated but clean. The view from the back of the motel is absolutely breathtaking. They have a fire pit and chairs for your viewing of the ocean around the back. They also have steps taking you down to the beach. The restaurant is located at the first building which serves great breakfast. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning and they only have 6 tv channels and are all in french

We wanted to spend a night at a motel where we could have access to water. Despite the price we decided to go for this motel. At the reception the woman did not even look up - just said Oui? We asked for at room and she hardly paid any interest, just threw the key and that's it. Very unfriendly. The room was clean but there was absolutely nothing extra apart from a fridge and a TV that did not work. WiFi did not work until next morning. During the night we had to turn of the very same fridge because it was so noisy we could not sleep. This was not good because we had some food in it - but had to choose between sleep or preserving the food. A very long night. At the wall there was a sign saying that there was no use of complaining about TV, WiFi or anything else. That's it.

Very clean motel and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Excellent cooked breakfast but extra cost? Beautiful sea views. Free Wi-fi was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and there were coffee making facilities

Stayed here for a couple on nights as a base for whale watching, was everything we needed. Staff were accommodating when we asked to switch rooms for a better view which was well worth it - stunning place to sit and look for whales plus there are fire pits for every chalet so we were able to make a fire as it was pretty chilly outside at night. The room itself was basic but clean, perfect for a couple of nights - fridge and tv in the room was a nice touch.

Well-located in Baie Saint Catherine in front of the river. I have booked a small cottage with all essential services. Not luxury. Room is clean. Not wifi working. Breakfast is normal. Service was professional but not very warm.

It was at the end of a long day, they had just one chalet left, and there were no other open rooms within 20 miles so we went for it.we didn't need the three beds or two bedrooms so had to pay more than we bargained for but it was a pretty spot and a friendly staff. Because we ended up having a kitchen we just purchased groceries up the hill and made dinner of our own. Wifi doesn't reach to the end of the property but you could get it sitting outside closer to the main building.

My husband and I took a one night break from camping as it was a cold and rainy 8 drgree Celsius day on July 7! We found this motek with an amazing view on the St-Lawrence River! The motel offers a beach where you can go down to by stairs and walk(which we did). The motel was clean enough but for the price we paid we expected much more! This is a big problem when traveling in Quebec remote villages, prices are very high! Groceries, motels, hotels, gas, restaurants, wine, activities!!!

Great views of belugas far out in the bay, from the restaurant windows. Friendly staff. Good food. Small but good rooms. However the best feature, the restaurant view, is inaccessible much of the day. Even sitting there or having a coffee is not allowed between lunch and 6pm dinner. At that hour they turn on porch lights, so diners cannot see the water. Worse, we arrived for breakfast half an hour before their announced closing, and they refused to seat us. They closed breakfast early to prepare for 2 tours coming for lunch. They acknowledged the tours were booked a month before, but they had not posted any sign and did not tell us when we checked in, that breakfast hours would be limited.

I read many mixed reviews and decided to take my chances. I am glad I did the room was a decent price . It was clean but did smell a little musty. the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were lots of parking spaces. The motel is on the bay and has outdoor seating and a cess to the beach. It is walking distance to a whale tour. The restaurant served great food. They didn't speak English but we were fine with the few french words I know. Our room faced the bay and many other guests were whale watching from the shore. Incredible view.
