The rooms here were not good. The mosquito nets were full of holes and were dingy, as were the rooms, The carpet is disgusting and the bathrooms are in serious need of re-finishing. But choices are limited in Nakuru. The hotel itself is decent--restaurant, bar, gym. Just don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room. The internet... More

Was here for a whole week, first night couldn't sleep much as there was some loud music from the street. The rooms are pretty much okay, spacious and clean. The bathrooms are abit too old but clean...The food was amazing!! Friendly staff , but unlike other hotels where there are people waiting to serve you, service takes a bit too... More

A very nice place to chill in the swimming pool or go to the gym! Elegant ambience and nice. The food is so so, I had some pizzas but as a real Italian I didn't like them. Hope the other dishes are better. Overall a nice place!

After finishing our tour to Masai Mara we were taken to Nakuru. We were told that we will be able to see Flamingos and Rhinoceros, which we are not in Masai. Our stay was at Merica. Wonderful hotel centrally located.

Spacious rooms with lots of redundant space, good view and an ideal location, poor lighting in the rooms and the service could have been better. The desks are quite small hard to get work done on those. There's room for improvement.

I stayed at Merica Hotel for 3 nights while attending a workshop. In the restaurant, buffet service is available for all meals. There is a pool and a small gym. Staff are courteous and helpful. The room was large and the bed had a mosquito net (great malaria prevention). The conference center is on the 1st floor and has everything... More

Good hotel for the location. Make sure that you get a room on the pool side, not the street side due the club across the street side. Most tourists on safari lodge here. Open air market across the street and National park 5 mins away. I travel to Nakuru 1-2 times per year. ?This is where I usually stay

I don't understand how anyone could rate this hotel as anything but rundown and in desperate need of renovation. Toilet didn't flush but told this was normal, road noise excessive, worn carpets, pillows falling apart........no idea about food....chef just made what he wanted not what was ordered.......very disappointing. In room safe broken so were given master key to our room... More

The rooms are very spacious. the table are very small to work on. They have old towels for the stature of such a hotel. The service is very good and the food has a variety on offer. A great place to be.
