We stayed here for one night in Donsol for 600 php. We arrived in the off season with the place extremely quite but yet the owner didn't know who we were and wanted us to prove our booking. The room itself is spacious and big however, the bathroom sink leaked and the shower had no curtain. The walls are suffering...

We saw a really cheap price for this place on agoda (500 pesos) , we walk in and we didn't obtain the same price, 800 pesos the room, the owner accept to decrease the price to 700 pesos but didn't for the first night. He promised internet, and after many asking we obtain 10 min connexion! For the 3 days...

The owner and his family are friendly and helpful. For 50 peso you can use the kitchen. The room were we stayed was basic and clean. Cold shower (for us was it fine) free wifi. It's 3.5 km walk to town but you can also take a tricycle. During the night you can see fireflies on the side of the...

The rooms are mostly clean but a little pricy. The family that runs it is friendly and helpfull. For tours nearby organised from villa Jolee they will ask above Market prices. They are right at the beach so iTS great if you'd like to make an early morning dive. When travelling off season i strongly recommend to skip Donsol. Everything...

Stayed here back in early March '14. Picked here over the other resorts as it was less 'resorty' looking. Turned out to be a great decision. The owner, Ron, is the making of the place. Basic rooms etc as mentioned by other reviewers but Ron and his staff make it a really nice and relaxing place to stay. He gives...

We arrived in Donsol to snorkel with whale sharks but were unfortunately too late. Most hotels and restaurants were closed and our tricycle driver dropped us at JoLee. The friendly owner offered us a aircon room for 1000 pesos, that we bargained down to 800. When we checked in the room the staff sprayed some chemicals on the bed but...

Room was OK in general except for worn out sheets and towels. Aircon was loud and made a lot of heat outside. They have a small cafe. We enjoyed their food and beer) Owner is a very nice person, he advised us to visit fireflies attraction at night. We were impressed! They can also give fins and masks for rent.

Most what I like on this place is owner. It's very smart and good person. Food is OK, some is perfect, some is not so good. Rooms are OK for budget, but I miss windows. The rooms have aircon, but only very small window. Well, better then nothing :)
