This is a pretty, quiet and comfortable privately owned hotel in Taos Ski Valley. The owners were friendly, welcoming and accomodating. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It is a great place to stay if you're taking advantage of the outdoor activities, though there were no restaurants, stores, etc. during our visit (due, in part to construction at...

I stayed here on a 10-day retreat with ~20 people, so can't speak to how it is for regular travelers. There were amenities we did not use, such as the hot tub & fireplaces, & the retreat had its own cook so I don't know what their usual breakfast is like. The room I had was a very generous size...

We spent a weekend at the Columbine so we could hike the fabulous trails at Taos Ski Valley and see the August wildflowers. We had a room with two queen beds, refrigerator and microwave. The linens were fresh and clean, towels were plentiful and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed seeng the full moon from the hot tub after a...

My family and I stayed for four nights, and the Columbine offered us all we needed for a family ski trip to Taos. Our room had two queen-sized beds with one of them on the loft above. My children loved the loft as it gave them a sense of privacy. (Their parents had the same reaction!) The room is not...

I love the Columbine. It's an traditional style ski lodge with great views of the pines as if you're nestled in the woods. There are quaint little living rooms for guests with a TV and fire place and an outdoor jacuzzi! The second floor has really unique "Loft" rooms that are really spacious and fun. I highly recommend staying here....

Came here with my son for 4 days/3 nights. We stayed in a room with 2 Queen beds. One bed was in a loft, the other in the main room. It was a perfect setup for us. My son could have his own space. He had his own TV, Bed up there in the loft. That way I could do...

Love this place! Susie & Paul, the owners are amazing! Our stay was fun. The breakfasts served were delicious, hot and hearty. It's a perfect way to start a day of skiing. The shuttle to the ski lift means that I can park my car when I get there, and no need to drive 'til I leave unless I want...

I would not recommend staying here to anyone who wants to enjoy their time off the slopes. Poorly managed and uncomfortable. I would not stay here again. The breakfast included with the room is the only positive thing about this cheap motel.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We sincerely apologize that your recent stay was not to your satisfaction and due to the holiday weekend, we were unable to correct your travel agent’s mistake in room type. We understand that offering a refund did not solve the issue and that is the reason you did not accept....

Inn is a good description. It's a few too many rooms to be called a B&B, but has a very warm feel. They do serve a good breakfast to get you going in the morning. Service was great and very nice rooms. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was great. The shower curtain was brand new as it...

Excellent location, on the road to the ski area. Plenty of hiking nearby. Has a nice central common room with large TV, microwave, you can bring in your own meal & eat there. It is a 10 min drive to the ski area, and 20 from the town of Taos. So dinner options are limited. Outside hot tub is quite...
