I stayed in one of the houses with a couple of friends. The layout of the complex is what I found the best part: Thoughtfully organized so each condo has maximum privacy and green space. Loads of beautifully cared for trees. Decent restaurant and very decent staff. Great beach minutes away with soft sand and warm, turquoise water.

We visited Pedras del Rei last week and were disgusted by the sate of our room. (Studio apartment with kitchen) We tried to change it but the management would not help at all as they said they were fully booked. There were wild cats and cat food everywhere. When we put anything on the balcony overnight to dry the cats...

This was our fourth visit to this hotel and I am sad to say that it will be the last unless they do something about the disgraceful accommodation. My wife and I travelled to Pedras De'l Rei as part of a three week holiday with my mother and Aunt. Instead of booking a two bed apartment we thought we would...

We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa and had a cot bed provided for our 2-year-old daughter. The villa was tired but clean (and cleaned every day). The only appliance it lacked was a kettle so we boiled water on the hob when needed. I think we were the first visitors for this summer as it smelt a bit musty...

Just got back from a three nights stay at Pedras D'El Rei in Santa Luzia. Although I spent a lot of summers nearby this was my first time at this place and loved every bit of it - minus the food. Booked a private apartment available at booking for 3 persons for 200 euros. With the resort access cards we...

Perfect location near Barril beach, tavira and Santa luzia we had all the choice of restaurants and cafes we needed along with plenty of variety to fill our days with. The village itself is quiet and has a little supermarket which supplied us with everything we needed for our two week stay. There are various cafes and restaurants for a...

Have just come back from a week here. Accomadation a little dated but very comfortable. Maid service in nearly every day. Receptionist very good but sometime the receptionist could do with some help when very busy. Receptionists some of the best that have served us. Near to a nice beach Travira island which we had a free ticket as we...

The green areas are well kept. Houses show the years passing by it. Not very well equipped (old appliances, furniture,...) but in the end a good option for a short break. Specially with family. To go to the beach you may take a train but it's only 1km so you can walk too.
