My husband and I have stayed at Kintail Lodge before,so we were delighted to get a superior room for a last minute overnight stay after doing some walking in the area.Yet again we had a spacious well appointed room with a comfy bed. There were only two slight negative comments there,as the TV reception was very poor( not a problem for...

Stayed 1 week in the area in a lodge but ended up eating here 4evenings & even the odd lunch time. The food is of a good standard, the steak & ale pie was eaten every night by at least 2 of our group. The staff are really friendly & welcoming. Would be great to stay in the accomodation next...

We had an excellent stay over the summer bank holiday weekend. Best of all was the food with plenty of tasty options for dinner including local shellfish. Decent portions with attractive presentation without being fussy. Breakfast was excellent too with good quality sausage/bacon/eggs and more local fish. The staff went out of their way to help and were used to...

This place is a little gem. Clean, comfortable with everything you could ask for after a day or two (in this case...) on the hills. I would like to say a big thank you to Helen who went out of her way to be helpful and welcoming after a booking at short notice. It was very much appreciated by 2...

We went to stay here with my newly married husband last year in September. We found what we were looking for - peace, clean room, pet friendly, good food. Great stopover if you are planning a trip to Isle of Sky or hill walking. Look forward to visiting again next month!

I always like to visit the Kintail Lodge for a meal when I'm in the area. The bar has a really nice atmosphere and the view from the window tables is fantastic (best reserved in advance). There is a nice menu with lots of good local ingredients and the portions are clearly designed for hungry hill walkers. Staff are friendly,...

Stayed for one night whilst hillwalking in Glen Shiel. The room was clean and comfortable. Great view over Loch Duich. Ate in the bar which was busy with tourists, walkers and locals. Good atmosphere. The food was a very high standard - pricy for bar food but well cooked and well presented. The scallops for starter and duck main course...
