This was a very short visit - somewhere to sleep after a long drive, and breakfast. Very helpful and pleasant night staff and great service at breakfast,no problem with very late arrival and dietary requirements. I'm sure we'll be back.

We have stayed here several times previously while visiting family in the area. We always thought the rooms were spacious. This time we were delighted to notice the new contemporary decorating. It was fabulous. We booked a double room and the style we selected described either iron and ironing board or robes and slippers - we received neither. The room was beautiful but very small with little room around the bed. The interior design was fabulous but there were no drawers and only room for 4 coat hangers in the very small closet. Drawers would have been appreciated to store underwear even the bedside tables had no drawers and only room for a book on top. At breakfast no one noticed us and several bigger parties who came in after had their order taken before us. The food is delicious and the staff are all professional and friendly. We will certainly revisit as we have family in the area and love this hotel but were a little disappointed with the room size, lack of drawers and no iron and ironing board or robe and slippers as described

Ground floor rooms newly completed to a high standard. Rooms at the back are very quiet = good sleep quality. Sunday breakfast finishes at 9.30 with majority of guests arriving at 9am so early bird catches the worm.

A wet towel was left on the back of the bathroom door and hairs were in the bath. More care is needed when cleaning the bathroom. This did not spoil our trip and I will definitely book again. Breakfast staff were excellent

I regularly work in Manchester and always stay at the Belmore when possible. It is easy to get to from the M6 and has parking by the hotel which is reassuring after a long drive from Suffolk. The food is consistently brilliant and despite being away from home for work I can relax knowing that my accommodation is comfortable.

Rarely, if ever, have I slept so well in a hotel room. The silence and comfort were golden. I could put it down to just a clean comfortable room, but the efficient and warm welcome probably did the job. And, when I was in, coming and going was like slipping in and out of home.

Fantastic place to hold a gathering or just an intimate meal. We stayed over even though we are fairly local. We were not disappointed. It was lovely to relax before the meal, which was fantastic, then afterwards just relax in the bar before going to our room, which was so comfortable, clean and modern. Then the next morning the breakfast was more than enough, plus being cooked to order meant it was piping hot. A huge bonus in my eyes as I'm not a big fan of a hot buffet breakfasts. Overall a fabulous place to stay, with accessible rooms and plenty of parking. Thank you Dave and Mel, you and your fabulous staff are a credit to your beautiful establishment.

Great place on outskirts of Manchester for an overnight stay would recommend and would definitely stay again. Arrived late on the Thursday so didn't have dinner but the breakfast was great. Rooms very comfortable and excellent facilities.
