A welcome and regular addition to the facilities of this ever more popular public house, is the carvery on Sunday lunch time. Generous helpings of Beef, Pork or Turkey (with all the trimmings) all for £8:50 but with a discount for seniors and children. Usually a choice of three real ales (or some wine, if you prefer) to wash it...

I can heartily recommend The Seven Stars' Sunday carvery. A choice of delicious roasts with all the trimmings. Well cooked, generous helpings, friendly service and good value. Of particular note was an apple pie to die for.

Read the reviews but as someone else had booked this decided to give it a try, bad mistake. We had coffee to wait for the rest of our party of 6 and this was cold. We were here for 2 hours and were the only ones in the pub. Toilets and pub clean and barmaid pleasant and friendly but the...

Signs on pub advertise Local Pub & Dining - with website "New Seasons Menus are now on offer at The Seven Stars" Arrived after pleasant 3 mile walk with this pub as destination to have meal only to be told by barman "Oh, I don't think the kitchen is open tonight". Clearly hadn't a clue. Won't be recommending this place.

We had booked for a two night stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice friendly man, who took us to our room without even asking our names! Our first impression of the room was good, it was large and bright, and lovely and warm. However, upon closer inspection it had not been hoovered well and though...

The rooms were tired and in need of TLC. We stayed for 2 nights B&B. We were told we would have a full English breakfast, but 1st morning only had toast and a pot of tea due to gas problem and the 2nd morning the owner was still in bed at 10.30, so we left with no breakfast at all....

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday. Welcomed with a smile, menu choice was good covering everything from meat, fish and vegetarian. Very large portions so well worth the money. Large car park around back. I did ring before arriving to check if food was available as only a small local pub.
