We were in Lages for a graduation from the University. The hotel is average or slightly above average. The rooms are modern although they are perhaps starting to show their age. The breakfast was fine. The hotel was clean and safe. On the whole, it was a good choice. There are restaurants and bars in the area as well as a grocery store and other shops, although this is not a tourist area. The town itself does not seem to be much of a tourist destination.
