As the title suggests, what a great place to stay in comparison to the Days Inn at Charnock Richard. This Holiday Inn has welcoming staff who are friendly and polite. The room was spacious and very clean. We didn't make breakfast as we left before it started (nothing to do with the hotel, just wanted to get back on the...

Excellent hotel, good location for Preston, we stayed with our 17 year old daughter and we had a double and a single bed which was far better than a sofa bed. Lovely room with very good shower. Again Excellent breakfast everything you would need on the buffet. Second time we have stayed here and both visits very good.

Central place to stop, clean hotel, staff helpful. Rooms well equipped, bar food a little expensive for the level of quality with a limited menu choice. Good value stay with good quality buffet type breakfast.

Room clean and comfortable. Just off the M6 so very convenient. Dinner menu limited, is the only criticism. Staff very friendly. Have booked again to split our next 350 miles journey from Cardiff to Newcastle.

Just a one night stop on a long journey north. Late arrival at 11pm but still a friendly face on arrival and water for the dog. Huge twin room, comfy beds and best shower with Dove products. Dog friendly and standard basic breakfast from 7:30. Value for money!

This is the second time we have visited this Holiday Inn. It is a great hotel for an overnight stay. Good value with a great breakfast. Rooms are spotless and roomy, only problem are the beds!! Matressess need to be replaced as they are awful. Its a shame as everything else is faultless. Did not have an evening meal as...

Stopped overnight en route Scotland to Wiltshire. Satnav took us accurately to the car park at front of hotel. Greeted by Sharon who is delightful and most helpful. Advised on local restaurants etc and got to our room quickly and with no fuss. First impressions were a pleasant surprise and exceeded our low expectations. Any Hotel near a Motorway with...

Excellent location just off the M6 but far enough away not to pick up too much road noise. Plenty of free parking spaces. Friendly welcome from a young team, room was very clean and well appointed, excellent shower. Food at dinner was good, one of the best chicken soups I have had in years, good prompt service. Comfy bed and...

We chose this hotel as it was good for spending a night travelling from London to Scotland. 2 minutes from the M6. What a find!! Clean, good price, reasonable food and very friendly and effective staff. We were made to feel very welcome (and our 2 small dogs were too!) Will be going back!!

What a find! This is by far one of the best HIE I have ever stayed in. The hotel is kept clean and tidy with a bright welcoming reception area. My bedroom was huge with a very comfortable bed meaning I had a great nights sleep. The bathroom was also very spacious with a good powerful shower. The main thing...
