Review of Bundhaya, Koh Lipe, the sea is very beautiful, the view is good, the water is clear and clean, the sea water is not salty, different from other places. Delicious food, fresh seafood. The service of the staff is friendly. The long-tail boat drivers who take us to dive are very friendly with tourists. and guide There is an introduction to various places on the islands before diving in. Take close care. and also take another photo Overall, it's very good.
Hotel with relaxing and nice atmosphere. We stayed in both pool room ad garden bungalows. Excellent. Clean and fantastic service. The restaurant right on the beach. Never seen such a colour on the sea before. Snorkling possibilties and lots of fish directly on the beach. We would like to come back.
The hotel located almost right in front to the pier so it’s very convenient but also a bit busy. The Deluxe Pool View room we stayed was ok, not big, not so clean but not that dirty. Breakfast was the best part, very good for 3 star hotel. The services was okay a bit harsh from some of the staffs.
This place has great potential but it just isn’t quite there yet. Due to Chinese New Year that seemed to be the 95% demographic.. Breakast is very good with omelettes and oriental mix what’s not to love? Room over pool was clean but drains a bit smelly. Pool was full of kids with terrible music blaring so we kept away from the resort during the day. WIFI is practically none existent for 90% of the day.... frustrating for digital nomads!! Great ability to get a tuk tuk anytime and the staff were lovely. I would use this place as a stopover betweeen locations only in future...
We stayed one night in this very large resort. For the one night price I waiting for something better, but propably high season keep prices up. Pros: location near ”Jetty”, swinmming pool is good size with bar. Breakfast medioka but Ok. Walking street is near and there you can find everyting. It is very nice and lively in evenings. Cons: Checkout time 11 and no chance for later. Next time I will examine more closely other places in Koh Lipe. Swimming in the sea outside resort is not good due all longtailboats. For swimming and snorkeling you myst take a tour or look other remote beaches if available.
One night there was a big mouse in the room. Very disgusting. The personal just gave us a new room (next to our old room) and was really toxic about the situation. The next night the mouse was back in the new room and then we moved out. We did get like 200 baht off the bill, wich is a joke 😂 do not stay here! I highly recommend to go to another place! The wi-fi isnt working, the beds are really hard. Breakfast is okey, and the pool area is nice. But the personal in the reception and the fact that there is several mouses in the hotel i wouldnt stay here..
Our stay wasn't horrible but we expected a lot more for the large price we paid. Mosquitos were bad here due to standing water behind the resort in marsh like swamp holes where they breed. High Speed internet (absolute lie) = Worst on the island; the connection is in and out, 10 to 90KB per Second. We thought it must just be island internet speeds and that is acceptable but we found that there is high speed internet all over the island even at coffee shops and run down restaurants (1500kb/sec to 3500kb/sec). We Often couldn't even connect and they make you change your password every 2 days which is painful because they often make you speak with 2 or 3 people before you can figure it out (and we stayed almost a week). Obviously we weren't here to use the internet but it's necessary for organising travel and accomodation for your trip, and also great for looking up recommendations of places to eat and booking island activities; and for us to pay what we did and then have to walk to a coffee shop to use the internet because we couldn't even book a flight is a little frustrating. Satellite Tv. (absolute lie) = There wasn't a single channel on the Tv that wasn't 90% static. The T.V didn't work at all, there was also only one english speaking channel. Again, we didn't come to watch T.V but we had a down day and wanted to relax, also if a service is offered, it should be available. Breakfast was just "OK"... We have had better breakfasts at places we've paid 4 or 5 times less which inspired us to avoid eating at the resort our entire stay. The staff seemed overworked. Sometimes we'd see the same people working at 7am and then walk past them still working and looking exhausted at 10pm. They were sometimes nice and offered a warm smile. But most other times they were cold and almost rude. A lot of the time you would see them standing around talking or on their phones. None of them spoke much english at all. Not even the front desk where you check in. The location was nice but there is a huge selection of resorts on the same beach in locations as good or much better. Again our experience wasn't horrible. It just wasn't worth the money we paid.…
Bundhaya resort on the beach has modern rooms and villas on the beach. We were picked up at the pier when we arrived by speed boat. Friendly and helpful staff. Beach front restaurant served fresh, tasty seafood. Close by to Walking Street. Breakfast had generous varieties. Nice swimming pools and spa. Not too many guests off season and it rained for most of our stay. Rooms were clean. My main complaint was that WiFi was very slow and shut off intermittently. Overall, a nice family resort.
Good location, friendly staff. Room nice, clean. Pool strategic located at the back of resort facing our room 926. Only don’t have halal food. weather’s perfect during our stay. On 2nd we went for snorkeling, was good as well. Overall good experience Thank you for hospitality.
Great staff. Check in was quick and they sort out the speed boat trips when you leave to visit other islands. The jetty is a stones throw from the hotel. Also good access to Walking Street and the beach bars and restaurants. The beach was amazing! We stayed in a bungalow which was spacious and clean. There is also a lovely swimming pool which we had to ourselves one day. Stayed for 3 nights but would loved to have stayed longer!
