the place is somewhat run-down. they "promote" a dirty and loud place as "reggae / hippie heaven" If you like waste, dirty and very very basic huts, dogs all over (including poo), glass and waste at the small beach and in the water, and would like to pay way too much for it - this is your choice. We had...

since we pre-booked at another resort on the island, we only stayed here for one night (at the honeymoon bungalow), but actually came here every day to chill and watch the sunset. the place is located at a private beach, and is soooo beautiful and peaceful. great music, great vibe, good energy. Taum and his staff are the best. if...

We had an wonderful stay for two days and nights. The owner and staff are very friendly. The beds are reasonably clean, the private beach is also neatly maintained. The resort offers complete freedom. The food is slightly pricey but tasty. The pathway connecting the beach with the rooms could have been slightly easier.

It´s a complete puzzle to me how this place managed to get good reviews. Don´t believe the hype. I´ve been traveling for next to 20 years and have slept on flea eaten matresses on floors in India but this is one of the worst places I´ve come to in terms of what you get for what you pay. The pictures...

There's no service what so ever. Bed doesn't get changed no new towels. We couldn't lock the door. No hotwater or toilet flush. But the location is perfect. Someone should built a nice hotel overthere!

I have to agree with others that this is not what I expected, but having said that, I did enjoy this funky little place. It is not good for kids or older people, the walk to our bungalow was treacherous and steep, but the owner and chef made the best curry I ate the entire time in Thailand. The main...

it is not what you would expect from the other reviews and their own website. The huts are in a dismal state, doors and windowsills cannot close properly so your belongings are not safe. There is no proper access to the "balcony" of the huts. The balcony has no fence whatsoever therefore very unsafe for kids. The free roaming dogs...

Visited for an afternoon dive in the sunset. Family with 9 month old daughter. Took a taxi to get there. Perfect spot, we were the only ones there. Nice little beach and bar. The owner was very friendly, said the place was visited primarily in the peak season. But definitely worth a visit. Walked home via pathaya beach. Good break...

Great spot on sunset beach on Ko Lipe. Taum and crew take great care. The place is beautifully rustic and totally charming. A nice private spot on Ko Lipe. Great breakfast and smoothies too! Don't ket the giant spiders in the trees scare you off… I never once saw one move!

The place is lovely with small beach and this is where it ends. We were looking for a different accommodation to stay at Koh Lipe and liked the bamboo huts at Bila beach very much. Based on the previous reviews we thought this place is a gem. The place has probably a potential but it is damaged by the lack...
