Detailed Reviews
On arrival to the island the hotel staff met us at the boat, wherein their smart hotel uniforms, they collected out bags from the boat and carried them to the hotel for us which was like 100m up the beach, an ideal location.
We received cool drinks while the hotel staff checked us in. Then the bell boy refused to let us carry our bags to our room, luckily we didn’t have much luggage.
There was music each afternoon at the front of the resort as well as live music in the evening. None of this was so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation, or could hear it in your room. The drinks at the bar were slightly on the expensive side, however the 2 for 1 cocktails at happy hour was great.
Breakfast was a huge buffet, not what I had come to expect from resorts in Asia, as well as cooked to order food such as bacon and eggs, omelettes and roti.
Getting around the island was easy, walk. We couldn’t find anywhere on the island we needed to get a taxi or motorbike. Google maps was very efficient with all of the lanes and streets.
On a whole our experience at Ananya Lipe Resort was very pleasant however I had to drop 1 star rating for 2 reasons. Although the staff were very pleasant, helpful and all in uniform at all times, there were 2 staff from the bar that clearly did not want to be there, it showed in there body language and the scowl on their faces. The second reason that we had to deal with cigarette smokers in the restaurant. I’m not sure about the culture that these people are from but in my country it is illegal to smoke in a restaurant and has been for over 30 years. I’m quite sure that Thai people don’t smoke at their dinner table either, so I find this behaviour disrespectful to the Thai people.

The island of Koh Lipe is very beautiful, with really fine sand and clear waters up till a few meters deep! The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help, just that some may not be too familiar with english.
The hotel rooms were really clean and scented with nice aromas so the rooms feel even cleaner. The room is spacious and has a sofia at the side which I used when I am still wearing my outside clothes, which is really nice and comfy. The sheets and towels are folded nicely and changed regularly. The rain shower was powerful and hot if you need it to be and I had great showers every time I needed it.
The yacht tours were really fun as well. As a family of 20, we had no problems finding space to relax and enjoy the breeze or sun. The music was also pretty decent and the on board service of appetisers were delicious and refreshing. It was a great first experience!
All in all the hotel staff, room and services were excellent and I would go there again!

Nice and recent resort directly on Ko Lipe’s Pattaya beach. It has all you would expect in a 4-star beach resort with a beautiful pool, a spa, many bars and restaurants with entertainment at night.
Our pool-access deluxe room was big and extremely clean. Staff were all attentive and polite.
We stayed there 4 nights and food was excellent from the morning breakfast buffet to dinner at night right on the beach.
We had a very comfortable and relaxing time at this resort and we would have given it a maximum rating of 5 but we deducted a point for the very small swimming area in front of the resort that had so many boats anchored all around that it made swimming impractical and no fun.

A new resort with great spacious rooms. Staff are not so friendly especially at breakfast & reception. It feels like their job is such a burden. Rooms are only made up around 3-4pm on most days but the house keeping staff are great. Overall, an okay experience, not worth the price paid.

No judgement of the accomendation - only of the beach front restaurant.
The waitress misunderstood one cheap part of the order (a plate of steamed rice).
Instead of just correcting the order and bringing the correct rice I was told I had to pay for it. So I ended up paying for their mistake. Never mind the amount, but it is the principle that is wrong - especially for such a small amount.
Sorry to say but I cannot recommend the restaurant. I hope that they someday learn that customer is always right (almost).
Besides that the main course was also quite tasteless.

There is nothing to be complained about. Friendly staffs, clean room, comfort bed, spaciaus room, and the most attractive thing is the direct-pool access from room!
The swimming pool is big and clean.
Besides the basic hotel amenities, the management is considerate enough to provide more stuffs e.g. the outdoor clothes drying rack (considering we might need to dry our beach wear frequently) , beach sandal, umbrella, specific towels( to bring out to beach). It is absolutely a pleasant stay in this hotel!

The location cannot be better, you arrive by boat and the resort is in front of the beach (a nice one!)
I had a room with swimming pool access, couldn't be happier with my choice.
Breakfast was good a mix of western and Thai.
The cocktails in the evening with the seaview. Just perfect!

This hotel is the best, we even added an extra night. It’s cheaper to book with the hotel on arrival, and it is quiet at the moment, although more expensive than Agoda online.
Everything you’d expect, except no iron in the room and Wi-Fi not fantastic.
From the ferry pier drop off, it’s literally along the beach for a couple of minutes and you’re at reception. Wasn’t expecting to be met from our ferry, but the luggage went one way and up to the room and we had the warmest welcome from Peter.
The entrance to Walking Street is on the same beach, right next to the hotel.
Highly recommended, the best hotel on the island from our encounters.

Ideal location right at the beach and next to Walking Street. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The Western food is reasonably priced and of very good quality (which is certainly not always a given in Thailand). We tried the Australian Sirloin and their cheeseburger and loved it. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are big and the pool is a refreshing option. Breakfast is well appointed and varied. We would certainly recommend this resort if you plan to have a relaxing and beautiful holiday on Koh Lipe!

Checked in for 4 nights stay at Ananya Lipe. Back after the pandemic to such a beautiful island. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks at the beach bar, found the cocktails too sweet and sugary after we had clearly told the staff no sugar added. Bar waiter, male, couldn’t be bothered to come and take orders. There seem to be some supervisor but just talking with staff. I did notice the bar to be rather empty. We had tried to order a few menu items and they were out of stock. They brought over a full fried fish in error of misunderstanding the order. The room as ok, rather large and complete with amenities and good pool view. Breakfast was ok but similar menu everyday. We found their Roti station ran out of roti early one day, no poached eggs available, and everyday after staff closed breakfast they would all come out of the kitchen and eat the leftovers. On checkout day they woke us up with a phone call at 8am reminding us to checkout before 12. At 11:50am onwards they kept phoning our room trying to check us out. All in all not a great experience and would stay at another place next time. Beach in front is very beautiful.
