Stayed 4 days 3 nights. Dream beach and best view. The bay is the best and most beautiful from all 4 beaches on Lipe. The rooms are spacious and modern. Seems renovated a few months ago. Buffet is alright and reasonable for the price. House keeping seems understaffed or they do not know when you are out of the room. If you sleep in, in the morning you get a basket with water and refreshments placed at your door. But seems they do not comeback later in the day to clean. We didn’t get any house keeping. On third day, had to ask twice until house keeping cleaning came. But everyone at hotel is very friendly and welcoming. Be careful not to leave the door or balcony open in afternoon and evening. There are many mosquitos around the bungalows due to the plants and they will immediately come in. Mosquitos only around the bungalows, not at the restaurant, cafe, beach. Location and beach is sill the best. We will come back.

We booked a honeymoon jacuzzi suite for 5 nights. The Interieur is lovely, big bed, fridge (filled up every day with nice little things), big terracce with a good view. Cleaning stuff friendly and very helpful! The breakfast is only for local ppl interesting - one very slow coffeemachine for 80 ppl in the morning is a challenge. A big pity is now the construction at the beach!! 3 new buildings coming up and anew resort was build on this beautiful sandbank what you can see in every picture (of course without...!) Longtailboote crossing the whole day - the stairs to the beach are dangerous for older ppl or kids.

I didn't appreciate this ressort and the poor quality of service crew Bad points : - rooms are not cleaned everyday even when I asked and put the sticker on my door - rooms are without phone and you cannot call the reception (I never seen that in my life) - no reception and no security in the hotel from 9:00 pm till 7:00 am (I also never seen that in my life) -->after I lost my key , they refused to give me another one. I was upset but I accepted because I was thinking there is a reception to open my door during the night. It wasn't the case , there was no one in the hotel and I had to sleep in the room of a friend in another hotel ! They also tried to charge me 1000 bath for the key (I finally paid 500bath) - breakfast quality is awful - service crew cannot speaks English Positives points : - deluxe Bangalow are nices (but expensive) - view from the hotel is good

(My second time here). Warm welcome with welcome drink. This time I stayed in Deluxe Sea View, clean and cute bungalow. This room type offers terrific sea view but a bit of roof. I love lying on the bed and enjoy the view here. In the evening, they have a car to walking street, no need to walk or pay for a taxi. (very convenient as the resort is quite far from walking street). Tasty breakfast, Nice staff as always. Will definitely come back again soon 😍

Nice quiet resort up a hill fronting the north side of the island. We had a spacious beach view bungalow. The view is really beautiful and the beach just a few steps away. Besides the rooms, which are neat and clean with nice aircon and hot water - a lot feels a bit rundown or needs more care. The bathroom doesn’t have a proper shower box or curtain. The breakfast room must not have been renovated for decades, breakfast buffet is uninspiring, service is non-existent (at lunch we waited 1 hour for a bag of fries). One day they didn’t make up our room and their excuse was that we didn’t put out the “make my room” sign - while in every hotel in the world rooms are made by default and the sign is only to have them made *at a specific time*. Coming into the resort you have to go through all the service buildings with junk and construction material everywhere. They were doing construction work by the beach: this is Ok but not a reason to leave junk or exposed metallic poles eg in steps that could injure kids. On the walkway to our room, we found a dental flossing brush on the ground, it hasn’t been picked up by anyone in 3 days - unbelievable. Overall good value for money, I would stay here again if I didn’t find better options but sadly this resort is not up to international standards of care, cleanliness and service.

We stayed in Honeymoon Jaccuzzi Suite at Mountain Resort. This room offers panoramic view of sea, sky and mountain (Adang Island). It also comes with a private roof terrace with an amazing view. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. In the morning, we just sat and sipped coffee and tea at sun beds in front of our room. Minibar and kayaks are available for free. They also provide a complimentary shuttle service from resort to walking street and vice versa, very convenient. Breakfast has lots of choices (buffet) and all are yummy! The food from menu is also tasty. 😋 We really enjoy our stay here. 😍🥰💕

Location, location, location. Mountain Resort has the best views on Koh Lipe, and is a short walk up and down stairs to the nicest beach. The water is as clear as you'll see anywhere, and there's a nice house reef for snorkeling. The spot is spectacular. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and the owner a very nice guy, if you can speak Thai. The restaurant is quite good on both Thai and western dishes. I've traveled in Thailand for 25 years, and this is the best spot for chilling I know of.

Never would we have dreamt that we are willing to forgo ~16,000 thai baht for room booking and search for alternative in the middle of the night. It was fine when we checked into rooms 6401 and 6402. Though the rooms and toilets were dirty, we decided to live with it. After all, we had already paid for the rooms and had some indication on what to expect from previous reviews. The mosquitoes were unbearable. Nonetheless, we got some mosquito coils from the walking street during our dinner and prepared ourselves for the night. The real disaster came when we went back to the room after dinner. There was a swamp of flies in the room and on the bed even though we have locked the door when we went out. The shower area in the toilet was the worst. There was a colony of big black ants crawling around. There was no way you could have went into the toilet. My 2 year old was terrified, crying hysterically at the corner of the room. We didn’t sign up for a stay at the amazon forest. There was no way we, or my son could have stayed in the room. We went to the reception and request for a change of room but was rejected, the excuse being that there no rooms available. Clearly if you looked around the whole day while we were there and at night when we returned, you would have agreed how deserted this flophouse was. Subsequently we even checked booking.com and there was still an available room at this place. A bad lie is just not cool. After rejecting our request to change rooms, they sent a staff to our room armed with 2 cans of Baygon. There was no way we could continue to stay so we started calling other resorts for vacancy. And very fortunately, we found ten moons resort. To be fair, we didn’t had any food or use the pool so we cannot comment much on the public amenities. But the condition of the room was not live-able, especially if you are traveling as a family. Stay away at all cost.

I never met more serviceminded, nicer staff in my life. Nothing was a problem, and they did what ever they could to meet our needs, Even when we didnt know we needed it. Was there whit a toddler and the rest of the big family from 18-75 years old. Everyone was super pleased. The best beach, best staff and you get drived to walking street whenever you want. We are coming back For sure. Only negative things are mosquitos and bad light in the dining area, some green plants and lanterns would do the trick :)
