We had an amazing stay at Anda Resort. Rooms nice and clean, friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast (the kids loved the french toasts). Big clean pool, good location on sunrise beach with house reef with clown fish just a few steps out. Walking distance (700m) to walking street and a bunch of nice small restaurants just outside the hotel. We were so pleased we booked three extra nights. Good value for money, we had two rooms on 2nd floor, close to the beach. If you want fancy, you can pay more on other places on the beach, but the feeling at Anda resort was the best. Highly recommend.

Not very welcoming guest from reception during check in, no smile and like machine telling you the basics e.g. wifi, breakfast time etc. Worst thing is they put us near the kitchen so you can imagine the noise. They really need to work om the Sound proof as we can hear literally everything the neighbour says. On new year eve, there was a big event in the hotel next door crazy music and lucky draws lasted until 2am! Poor quality of sleep I saw tray dogs stole food which supposed made for customers on the beach and no staff has action to stop them.. Two good things I can think of. 1. the fridge keeps working even u take away the key in the socket. 2. good variety of breakfast

Rooms were pretty good as long as you can negotiate the steep stairs…and the location is great…if you like heavily inked bodies then this is the destination for you. Just not quite up to the standard of it’s near neighbours but pretty affordable

First time I stayed at Anda in December 2021 and this year I chose Anda again for my another 10 days stay. It has everything a person may want. The location is perfect, not t far from Lipe walking street, right at the beautiful beach with sunbeds out 24/7 so you can lay and watch the moon if you like. There is a bar right at the beach too. Wide choice of food and drinks, all delicious and fairly priced. Good breakfast. Free coffee all day long. Rooms are very comfortable with great beds, the farthest one is just less than 1 minute from the beach (with no hill to climb!). Some are right at the beach, with spectacular view a wave sounds. The staff are all sweethearts, caring for all guests and meeting all your wishes. Special thanks to k. Beer for making my stay here super special. Last but not least: great pool for adults and kids zone too. And gym is next door at another hotel, easily accessible for those who need work outs. I’ll be back next year!…

We have had the most wonderful time at Anda resort. It’s a beautifully designed resort located at the nicest part of sunrise beach. The staff is always super friendly and the owner cares well about the place and his guests. We also loved the pool and the view from the pool to the beautiful Asian buildings. All the details make this place really special. Our rooms very quiet and clean and had nice views. I hope we can come back and stay at Anda resort again!

A really nice Resort build with a lot of wood. Everything is clean an the stuff is super friendly and helpful. I booked a Snorkeling Trip around the island at the Reception. 1h bevor I would like to go. It was perfectly arranged... I would stay here again

Beautiful beach 🏝. Tasty breakfast 🍳. Friendly staff 👩🏻. Nice pool 🏊🏻♂️. Cool A/C but noisy. The room was clean but there was bad smell in the bathroom. The rooms were old with rusty amenities (ex. faucet, rain shower, etc.). There was a dirty stain on my bedsheet, a dead butterfly in the drawer R.I.P. 🦋 Dusty restaurant. They also put food warmer tray there but no food, only rat droppings inside the tray. Disgusting!

I read a lot of other people’s reviews on this and didn’t agree with a lot of the points raised from my 6 nights in the hotel - in fact in one case I think they were talking about a different hotel as the location didn’t seem right. Saying that, there are good an bad points on this hotel. Before I list them however I have one point to note- Koh lipe is not a cheap island so don’t try to compare it to Phuket or Krabi which are generally cheaper in terms of hotels, eating out, bars and shops. In terms of this hotel- it is not 5 star and is one of the cheaper options if you compare location and swimming pool etc. Now the positives and negatives. Positives - good beach front location, great for snorkelling at high tide and a nice beach. - room was ok considering I only paid for the cheapest room- location was ok, it was large and bed was clean - I had no problem with aircon, mosquitoes or hot water - in fact I didn’t even see a mosquito. I have seen a lot of other reviews raising these points - I didn’t have issues with any of them - breakfast was ok, in fact better than those I had on Krabi and phi phi which were similarly rated hotels. Don’t expect gourmet food though- it’s a 3 star hotel. - staff were friendly and helpful but did have limited English Negatives - not enough sun beds or beach umbrellas and they were in a poor state of repair, the cushions were very worn out and not so clean. Easily resolved and not hugely expensive to fix so don’t know why not done. - the standard rooms are up some steep steps which some may struggle with and some of them don’t have great views. I was lucky, mine had a sea view (worth asking for when you book) - general state of repair was not bad but could have been better- needed a bit of a freshen up. - bar and restaurant on beach was a bit pricey and only sold small beers (not the larger ones). I am sure they could have been a lot busier if a bit cheaper as location was great. I ate lunch there every day and food itself was actually quite good all be it a lot more expensive than just up the road. Overall- I would stay there again. I much preferred sunrise beach to the main beach- nowhere near as many boats and just a lot nicer. Location for walking street was just about right- not to close or to far. …

We stayed in a room back on the hillside area on the back of the resort. The room was decent, although the bed was not super comfortable. It was definitely clean. The room design was a bit weird, with the bathroom having walls not extending to the ceiling and the shower being in the open area between the toilet and sink. Check in and out went smoothly and we found breakfast to be good every morning. The beach was amazing! We did not go to the pool except for once but we also found this clean and well cared for. We both thought the accommodations were just fine! We did not go in expecting a 5 star resort though, so I think this helped.

Me and my partner stayed in the resort for 4 nights the check-in process was poor we were given no information about the resort facilities or timings of breakfast,check out etc. We both thought that the resort was very rundown, the room very basic and dusty the bed was very uncomfortable and the bedding felt dirty. On our final day the air-con dripped and left a puddle in the room and made our bag wet. The bathroom was very basic with poor lighting which made it hard too see at night. The breakfast was average and certain things were not covered allowing flys too fester on them. The pool area was okay did not use toilets by the pool though. Good location on beach very easy too navigate the island. Staff were friendly but not very helpful. Overall we thought the resort was far under our expectations and was overpriced for what you got.…
