Wapi Resort is located in the middle of Sunrise Beach (Hat Chao Ley) on Koh Lipe, a small island in the South of the Thai Andaman Sea. It is conveniently located near the end of Walking Street.The resort is set in a mature Pine Tree garden, that provides shade and a gentle breeze throughout the day. No humanity in this place, heartless, bad attitude with the clients. I can’t score the place because we were not able to get it. We were supposed to spend 6 days and our daughter got sick just two days before we got there so we talked with the resort in order to get refund or or at least partially. We even send them doctor report and their answer was the same, no refund at all.

Wapi Resort is not flash but it is lovely. Our room was a Bungalow Second Room with Sea View. The bedroom was small but had all the necessities for a beach side holiday - a comfortable bed, a fridge (which we didn't use), a wardrobe and enough space for luggage to be stored out of the way. The bathroom was a good size and clean. Our little verandah had a table and 2 chairs, and was well used. Ko Lipe is a low key sort of place and Wapi Resort suits that vibe. The sandy beach and turquoise water is right there in front of you; it has a great café/restaurant serving simple but good food (both Thai and western) - the breakfasts are good, so is the coffee and their Bacon sandwiches hard to resist; Walking St and its restaurants only 5 minutes walk away; very friendly owners and staff. We absolutely loved our 10 nights at Wapi Resort. We were very pleased when we got of our speedboat from Mook (which was very late) and there was a hotel rep waiting to take us to the hotel - the driver was very helpful and kind. We stayed in a garden bungalow and it was comfortable and clean. The location on Sunrise beach is fantastic - easy to walk up and down the whole coast on that side, very close to walking street and shops/restaurants etc. The breakfasts were a highlight of the day - probably close to the best I've had in all my travels - lots of variety, fresh and delicious and they also make eggs to order. The owner takes such pride in the resort and it is spotlessly clean and they only have locals as staff members - we had such a great conversation with him about the history of Lipe and his life there over the last 20 years - make sure to take some time to talk with him. I would absolutely stay at this resort again and we really hated to leave. Thank you so much!!!…

Amazing place to stay in Koh Lipe. We loved the location, just a few min away from walking street. The room is clean, and well thought of with refillable water bottles, beach bag and towels and even flip-flops to use whilst staying. The resort is well looked after and the most import the staff is very friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy guest here. The breakfast choices were very good and with amazing views of the sea. Would go back here without a doubt. Thank you Wapi resort for our paradise time here😍

Nice clean bungalow, the food in the restaurant is very tasty. The breakfast is good with different noodles every day. Nice friendly staff and the French ovner too. Every good sunbeds and many of them. The only not so good is the longtailboats that drives around the whole day without muffler, wery annoing sound. Only a short walk to walking street and stores and restaurants.

We had a great stay at this resort. Even when having to be changed as the first bungalow that was given to us wasn't up to the standard, we got changed and everything was amazing. Staff are really friendly, good breakfast and beautiful beach, we highly reccomend it!

We were thinking about staying at Ten Moons but glad we decided on Wapi. Staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Breakfast is good for this size of resort. Everything is easy and you can organise activities such as snorkelling. The room was big enough to relax in and super comfy bed. Location very near Walking St for food etc but also super quiet, slept like logs there.

We are here for a week. Check up also some other resort, but wapi was the best option of all them . Sunrise beach is also the best of koh lipe beaches. On the beach are longtail boat in a row, but never really disturbing. A lot of beach restaurant and bars are there too. Very nice n friendly french and thai host, like family. Thai life 🏖️. We have a great time. Some days left 💛.

The beachside bunglalow was spacious and nice. The staff were wonderful and picked us up at the pier and also arrnaged snorkeling for us. The breakfast had many options and was great. I would definitely stay here again!

It is definitely the best place to stay in koh Lipe! We stayed 9 nights there and it was my best ever holiday! Nothing to compare with any other hotel. Make sure you book one of 3 beachfront bungalows they have. It is just amazing. The breakfast was also so good , you have many choices and everything tasted so so good! And don’t forget to try a Mango sticky rice there ! It was just so so perfect !!! I couldn’t find anything similar in other places! Highly recommend!!!!
